Avan Jogia is clearly the internet’s favorite to play the title role in the upcoming live-action remake of Disney’s Aladdin and it seems he’s one step closer to landing the part!

The 25-year-old actor sent in an audition tape in which he sings a song from the movie and now director Guy Ritchie is considering him for the role, according to TMZ.

Will Smith is set to play the Genie in the film, but a recent report claimed that the producers are having trouble finding actors to play Aladdin and Jasmine as they want to find people of the correct ethnicity. This lead to the internet providing a whole bunch of suggestions, with Avan being the clear favorite to play Aladdin.

The Dolce&Gabbana fashion show in Milan over the weekend featured a bunch of rising stars from the music, film, and modeling worlds, as well as lots of children of famous celebs!

The show took place on Saturday (June 17) during Milan Men’s Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2018 in Italy.

Rising stars included actors Avan Jogia and Will Peltz, rapper Gnash, photographer Damon Baker, and models Jordan Barrett, Neels Visser, and Luka Sabbat.

Some of the celeb offspring included Pamela Anderson‘s son Brandon Thomas Lee, Diddy‘s son Christian Combs, Snoop Dogg‘s son Cordell Broadus, Russell Simmons‘ son Diggy Simmons, Pierce Brosnan‘s son Dylan Brosnan, Shaquille O’Neal‘s son Myles O’Neal, Cindy Crawford‘s son Presley Gerber, and Hillary Clinton‘s nephew Tyler Clinton.

Luke Grimes and Emily Browning‘s indie film Shangri-La Suite is now available to buy or rent on iTunes!

The film only played in limited release when it hit theaters last fall, so this will give the chance for everyone to catch the movie from the comfort of their own homes.

Avan Jogia, Ron Livingston, John Carroll Lynch, and Burt Reynolds also star in the film, written and directed by Eddie O’Keefe.

Here is the synopsis: “Karen Bird, a southern belle who never quite took the debutante idea of life, and Jack Blueblood, a half Native American/half Irish ball of fire, meet while both committed to the Second Chances mental facility. Their bond is immediate, pure emotion as they quickly fall in love. When Karen is mistreated by the resident Doctor, Jack loses control and kills the Doctor and anyone else who gets in their way as they escape the facility to head across the country to fulfill their destiny’s, to assassinate the King of rock n’ roll. We follow them on their journey of bloodshed en route to its ultimate climax in the city of dreams, Los Angeles.”

Grey’s Anatomy star Jesse Williams is not only the face of Kenzo‘s brand new Spring 2017 campaign, he’s also the star of the brand’s upcoming short film titled Music is My Mistress!

The 35-year-old actor along with Tracee Ellis Ross musician Kelsey Lu, who’s featured on Solange‘s album A Seat At the Table, star in the mini fashion film set to premiere on February 20 and will show how “music is much more than mere sound and rhythm. This story casts music herself as the central character of an unfolding drama across cultures, space, and time.”

The young millennials took over the runway at the 2017/18 Dolce&Gabbana Fall/Winter presentation during Milan Fashion Week on Saturday (January 14) in Milan, Italy.

Stars such as Lucky Blue and Pyper America Smith, Sofia Richie, Cameron Dallas, Avan Jogia, Rafferty Law, Brandon Thomas Lee, Presley Gerber, and more walked the runway while Austin Mahone performed.

Sofia Ben Ammar, Will Peltz, Sistine and Sophia Stallone, Neels Visser, Immy Waterhouse, Diggy Simmons, and YouTube star Marcus Butler also walked the runway.

Zoey Deutch and her longtime boyfriend, Avan Jogia, have split, JustJared.com can confirm.

The young stars had been been together for over five years and split just a few months before the holiday season.

Avan and Zoey publicly confirmed their relationship after attending the 2012 Kids’ Choice Awards together.

Zoey, whose movie Why Him? is currently in theaters, has some exciting projects in the pipeline. Her films Before I Fall and Rebel in the Rye are both set to premiere at the Sundance Film Festival this month.

Avan just walked in the Dolce & Gabbana fashion show in Milan this weekend. He will soon be seen alongside Zoey in the indie film The Year of Spectacular Men, directed by Zoey‘s sister Madelyn Deutch.
