Nicole Kidman Spotted with Lucille Ball's Iconic Red Hair in New 'Being the Ricardos' Set Photos

Nicole Kidman has been spotted again on the set of her upcoming movie Being the Ricardos!

The Oscar-winning actress was seen channeling the late Lucille Ball while in costume on Friday (April 30) in Los Angeles.

Nicole was sporting the iconic red hair that Lucille became known for throughout her career. Make sure to see what Nicole looked like in a different outfit and wig just days earlier!

Alia Shawkat, who is playing I Love Lucy writer Madelyn Pugh, was also spotted on Friday during a break from filming. Check out that photo in the gallery.

Being the Ricardos is “set during one production week of I Love Lucy, when Lucy and Desi face a crisis that could end their careers and another that could end their marriage,” according to THR. The movie was written by Aaron Sorkin and he’s also directing the film, which is being executive produced by Lucie Arnaz, the daughter of the real-life couple.

Nicole Kidman walks and talks with Javier Bardem on the set of their upcoming movie, Being The Ricardos, on Wednesday afternoon (April 28) in Long Beach, Calif.

The two stars were spotted walking around the Queen Mary in between scenes for the movie, which will be directed by Aaron Sorkin.

Nicole was seen in a wig reminiscent of Lucille Ball‘s iconic red curly hair, while Javier was suited up in a suit that Desi Arnaz liked to wear on I Love Lucy.

She was also spotted wearing two vintage looks, one a bold berry skirt and another olive colored skirt ahead of filming scenes.

Nicole Kidman has been spotted on set of her highly-anticipated new movie!

The 53-year-old Oscar-winning actress has transformed into legendary comedienne Lucille Ball while on set of Being the Ricardos on Tuesday afternoon (April 12) in Hollywood, Calif.

In the photos obtained by The Daily Mail, Nicole can be seen sporty fiery red hair while wrapped up in a raincoat while chatting with crew members.

Back in January, it was announced that Nicole had signed on to play Lucy in the Aaron Sorkin-directed movie.

The movie will focus on when Lucy and ex-husband Desi Arnaz face a crisis that could end their careers and another that could end their marriage. See who will play Desi here!

Nicole‘s casting was met with skepticism online but Lucie Arnaz, the 69-year-old daughter of Lucy and Desi, expressed her support for the actress in a Facebook video.

Tony Hale and Alia Shawkat are just two of the actors who have joined Aaron Sorkin‘s upcoming Being The Ricardos movie.

The two actors, alongside Jake Lacy, Clark Gregg, Nelson Franklin, John Rubinstein, Linda Lavin, and Christopher Denham, round out the full cast of the upcoming feature.

Chris Pine‘s father, Robert Pine, will also be in the cast.

Variety is reporting that Tony will star as I Love Lucy’s executive producer and head writer Jess Oppenheimer.

Meanwhile, Alia and Jake will star as the show’s longtime writing partners Madelyn Pugh and Bob Carroll Jr.

Nicole Kidman and Javier Bardem are set to star as Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, with J.K. Simmons and Nina Arianda as William Frawley and Vivian Vance in the movie.

J.K.‘s character William played Fred Mertz in the beloved sitcom I Love Lucy. Nina‘s character Vivian played his wife and Lucy‘s best friend Ethel Mertz.
