The 13-track project, titled Betty, marks a milestone in the 27-year-old Australian singer’s career as the first independent album of her career, including the single “I Remember.”
“BETTY IS OUT 😠sitting here watching the last panic show singing my heart out and probs eventually crying and I am so overwhelmed with gratitude and love and pride, I can’t stop smiling,” Betty captioned with her Instagram post. “I love you all and this album and I’m so happy. I hope you love it as much as I do.”
Betty is set to join Kesha on her Kesha Cruise: Kesha’s Weird & Wonderful Rainbow Ride from February 17-21 in the Bahamas, prior to her 2019 U.S. headline tour Betty: The Tour this spring.
Betty Who is ringing in the new year with another glimpse into her forthcoming album with the release of her single, “I Remember“!
The track was produced by Peter Thomas and Kyle Moorman and is featured on the 27-year-old Australian singer’s third studio album called Betty, which is due out February 15.
“‘I Remember’ is exactly the way I wanted to start my new year. It’s such a representation of the album and my obsession with making music that makes people feel good,” Betty said in a statement. “The whole point of the song is about letting go of how hard life (and especially love) can be at times and remembering why you do it in the first place. Love is never going to be perfect. Sometimes it will be easy, most times it will be hard, but all the time it’s worth it because, when you’re with the right person, you are willing to work for it.”
Betty currently joins Panic! at the Disco on their Pray For The Wicked Tour for 20+ dates across North America through February 14 – Stream her new single on Spotify and download it on iTunes now!
