Scarlett Johansson is Back in Action in New 'Black Widow' Trailer - Watch!

Marvel has released the second trailer for the upcoming Black Widow!

The upcoming movie will be the first movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase Four and – Scarlett Johansson is back as Natasha Romanoff.

Here’s the synopsis: Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.

Florence Pugh stars as Yelena, David Harbour portrays Alexei/The Red Guardian, and Rachel Weisz is Melina.

Black Widow hits theaters on May 1, 2020.

Marvel just surprised fans by dropping the teaser trailer for the upcoming movie Black Widow, starring Scarlett Johansson as her beloved superhero!

The upcoming movie will be the first movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase Four and Scarlett is back as Natasha Romanoff.

Florence Pugh stars as Yelena, David Harbour plays Alexei aka The Red Guardian, and Rachel Weisz is Melina in the new Marvel film. We get a brief glimpse at the villain Taskmaster in the teaser trailer and there’s also an awesome fight scene between Natasha and Yelena!

“Where we find Natasha in her life at this point is very specific,” Scarlett previously told EW about the movie. “She really is in a dark place where she’s got no one to call and nowhere to go. She’s really grappling with her own self. When something huge explodes and all the pieces are landing, you have that moment of stillness where you don’t know what to do next — that’s the moment that she’s in. In that moment, you actually have to face yourself.”

Black Widow hits theaters on May 1, 2020.

Robert Downey Jr Might Appear in Marvel's 'Black Widow' Movie!

Robert Downey Jr may be appearing in another Marvel movie as his fan favorite Iron Man.

Major spoiler ahead! In Avengers: Endgame, Tony Stark passed away during the big final battle with Thanos.

Now, Deadline is reporting that Robert will appear in Black Widow, the upcoming standalone movie centering around Scarlett Johansson‘s character. The movie is a prequel, as Scarlett‘s character also died in Endgame.

This news has not been confirmed, but stay tuned!

Scarlett Johansson Introduces Star-Studded 'Black Widow' Cast at Marvel's Comic-Con Panel!

Scarlett Johansson is all smiles while announcing her Black Widow movie during Marvel’s panel at 2019 Comic-Con on Saturday (July 20) in San Diego, Calif.

The 34-year-old actress introduced the world to her co-stars – David Harbour as Alexei aka The Red Guardian, Florence Pugh as Yelena, O-T Fagbenle as Mason, and Rachel Weisz as Melina.

The film’s director Cate Shortland was also on hand!

Black Widow is going to be released on May 1, 2020 and it’s the first film in Marvel’s Phase Four to hit the big screen. See the FULL release slate now.

Rachel Weisz Circling 'Black Widow' Movie for Key Role!

Rachel Weisz is up for a role in the Black Widow film, and while a deal is not reportedly done just yet, it is headed in the right direction and there is “strong interest from both sides of negotiations,” Variety reports!

The role is currently unknown, but it is said to be an important character in Scarlett Johansson‘s Marvel film. Just earlier today, it was also revealed that Stranger ThingsDavid Harbour had landed a role in the movie.

Rachel, who won an Oscar back in 2006 for her work in The Constant Gardener, was lauded during this past awards season for her work in The Favourite.

Stranger Things' David Harbour Joins Marvel's 'Black Widow' Movie

The Black Widow standalone film is adding another famous face to the cast: Stranger Things star David Harbour!

It’s unclear who David will be playing at this time, and plot details are being kept totally under wraps, THR reports. The movie will largely be focused on Natasha Romanoff (aka Black Widow). Scarlett Johansson is set to reprise her role in the Marvel movie

Florence Pugh also recently joined the cast of the film, which will be directed by Cate Shortland.

Florence Pugh is joining the cast of the upcoming Marvel movie Black Widow!

Not much is known about the standalone movie for Scarlett Johansson‘s beloved character. It’s still unknown if the film will be an origin story or if it will take place following the events of Avengers: Endgame.

Scarlett plays Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, a “spy and assassin who grew up being trained by the KGB before breaking from their grasp, becoming an agent of SHIELD and Avenger.”

THR reports that Florence will “play a spy on the same level as Romanoff, likely her moral opposite.”

Florence won over audiences in this year’s wrestling movie Fighting With My Family.
