Giannis Antetokounmpo, Zion Williamson and Blake Griffin are just three of the basketball stars giving back big time during the coronavirus pandemic.

Just days after the NBA suspended the season, it was revealed that thousands of workers would be out a job because of that.

However, Blake, Zion, Giannis and more are donating their money to those who are missing out on the pay they would’ve otherwise made.

“It’s bigger than basketball! And during this tough time I want to help the people that make my life, my family’s lives and my teammates lives easier. Me and my family pledge to donate $100,000 to the Fiserv Forum staff. We can get through this together!” Milwaukee Bucks player Giannis shared on Twitter.

Zion, who plays for the New Orleans Pelicans, shared on Instagram: “These are the folks who make our games possible, creating the perfect environment for our fans and everyone involved in the organization. This is a small way for me to express my support and appreciation for these wonderful people who have been so great to me and my teammates and hopefully we can all join together to relieve some of the stress and hardship caused by this national health crisis.”

Blake committed to donate $100,000, and Cleveland Cavaliers player Kevin Love also shared his plans to donate wages.

After the NBA announced the season suspension, Mark Cuban, who owns the Dallas Mavericks, revealed that he has a program in place to financially support the arena workers.

Blake Griffin took part in Alec Baldwin‘s Comedy Central roast, and took the time to roast one of the attendees, Caitlyn Jenner. Caitlyn is the parent of Kendall Jenner, who is Blake‘s ex.

First, Blake, who plays in the NBA for the Detroit Pistons, started out by saying, “Caitlyn completed her gender reassignment in 2017, finally confirming that no one in that family wants a white d—.”

Later, Blake got a little more serious, saying, “I want to take this moment to publicly thank you. As an athlete I want to thank you for bravery. And as a human, I want to thank you for doors you’ve opened.”

“And on behalf of the entire NBA and half of the rappers on the Billboard charts, I want to thank you for giving your daughters their daddy issues,” Blake added.

Blake and Kendall split sometime in early 2018. Kendall went on to clarify how many NBA players she’s actually dated, despite all the rumors about her love life.

Alec Baldwin is ready for his roast!

The 61-year-old actor held hands with daughter Ireland Baldwin as they arrive at the Comedy Central Roast of Alec Baldwin on Saturday (September 7) at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Kendall Jenner rocks a bright green dress while leaving The Nice Guy restaurant on late Friday night (August 9) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 23-year-old model joined a bunch of famous friends for a fun night out at the L.A. hotspot.

Kendall was joined by her older sister Khloe Kardashian, her BFF Hailey Bieber with her husband Justin Bieber, Grown-ish actor Luka Sabbat, and basketball player Blake Griffin, among others.

It looks like Kendall and Khloe will not be joining their younger sister Kylie Jenner for her 22nd birthday celebrations in Italy this weekend.

Blake Griffin appeared on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night (July 17) and opened up about trying out stand up comedy.

The 30-year-old Detroit Pistons star will be performing at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal next week.

“I kind of like stumbled into it. I was gonna go to the Just For Laughs in Montreal, this was like four years ago I think,” Blake said, revealing that he was offered the opportunity to MC a late-night set. “I had to go write 10 minutes… and it worked out.”

Blake Griffin also explained that post-game interviews make athletes sound dumb because they just exercised for two hours and don’t have enough oxygen in their brains.

“After the game you have to do media and you have to sit at a press conference and answer questions,” Blake explained. “I think people always think athletes are like really stupid and it’s not that we’re stupid it’s that we’ve just exercised for two hours and there’s not really enough oxygen in our brains.”

To demonstrate, Blake had Jimmy Fallon run in place for 15 seconds (complete with commentary from Blake) and then shoved a microphone into his face.

The 30-year-old NBA pro enjoyed a day out on a yacht with some friends on Wednesday afternoon (June 26) in Ibiza.

Blake showed off his ripped body going shirtless while wearing a short, blue bathing suit as spent the day lounging on the yacht.

Later in the day, Blake and his friends were spotted picking up some snacks at a local shop.
