Gina Rodriguez, Lena Waithe, Uzo Aduba, & More Attend NAACP Image Awards Dinner

Gina Rodriguez, Lena Waithe, and Uzo Aduba hit the red carpet while attending the 2019 NAACP Image Awards’ Non-Televised Dinner on Friday (March 29) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Joining Gina at the event was her fiance Joe LoCicero!

Marsai won two awards – Best Performance by a Youth in a Series and Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. Marcus picked up Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. The Real won Outstanding Talk Series.

Lakeith Stanfield's 'Sorry to Bother You' Wins at Spirit Awards 2019!

Boots Riley accepts the award for Best First Feature at the 2019 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday afternoon (February 23) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 47-year-old filmmaker was joined on stage by cast members Lakeith Stanfield, Tessa Thompson, Armie Hammer, Steven Yeun, and more.

“There are real movements happening out there on the streets, direct action, where people are trying to change the way the world is and, rightly so, film is responding,” Boots said in his acceptance speech.

“This is a film that takes place in an office place and it’s the first one that I know that has class struggle in it even though class struggle is happening every day when you’re on your jobs and you’re seeing that happen. For some reason, we thought we had to edit that out of our stories,” he added.

“AYE. Our film @sorry2botheryou just won best first feature at @filmindependent awards & then @lakeithstanfield3 & I took this picture on the way to the porta potty,” Tessa captioned a pic on Instagram.

The 27-year-old actor hit the blue carpet on Sunday afternoon (January 13) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

While on the carpet, Lakeith posed alongside his Sorry to Bother You director Boots Riley.

Lakeith is up for Best Actor in a Comedy for his role in the film, which also got a nod for Best Comedy.

His show Atlanta is also up for several awards during the ceremony including Best Comedy Series!

Make sure to tune in TONIGHT for the Critics’ Choice Awards, which will air on The CW at 7pm EST. The show honors the best in both movies and television.

Amy Adams Gets Honored at SFFILM Awards Night 2018!

Amy Adams keeps it chic and sophisticated while striking a pose on the red carpet at the 2018 SFFILM Awards held at the Palace Of Fine Arts Theater on Tuesday (December 3) in San Francisco, Calif.

The 44-year-old Oscar-nominated actress was joined at the event by Michelle Rodriguez, Widows director Steve McQueen, John C. Reilly, Sorry to Bother You writer-director Boots Riley and Vice director Adam McKay at the annual fundraising celebration honoring achievement in filmmaking craft supporting the organization’s various year-round initiatives, especially SFFILM Education.

This year’s edition of the dinner and awards presentation event — leveraging its new position in the fall after a wildly successful move in 2017 — honored Steve with the Irving M. Levin Award for Film Direction; Amy with the Peter J. Owens Award for Acting; and Boots with the Kanbar Award for Storytelling.

'On The Basis of Sex' Co-Stars Felicity Jones & Armie Hammer Attend Governors Awards 2018

Felicity Jones and Armie Hammer are glamming it up!

The 35-year-old and 32-year-old On The Basis of Sex co-stars hit the red carpet at the 2018 Governors Awards on Sunday night (November 18) at the Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood.

The movie follows Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who, having struggled against the sexism of her times to become educated at Harvard Law School and enter upon a legal career, teams with her husband to argue the (1972) case Moritz v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue pro bono before the U.S. Court of Appeals, setting the stage to overturn over a century of sex discrimination.

Kesha, who supplied the film’s first single “Here Comes the Change,” was also in attendance, as well as director Mimi Leder and Armie‘s Sorry To Bother You director Boots Riley.

Tessa Thompson keeps it chic and sophisticated while hitting the red carpet at the premiere of her latest film Sorry To Bother You held during the 2018 BAMcinemaFest Opening Night at BAM Harvey Theater on Wednesday (June 20) in New York City.

The 34-year-old actress was joined at the event by her co-stars Armie Hammer, Lakeith Stanfield, Jermaine Fowler, Steven Yeun, Omari Hardwick, Terry Crews and the film’s writer-director Boots Riley,
