The guys of Florida Georgia Line are addressing their future.
Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley recently opened up to their fans, revealing that they are both working on solo music projects outside of the band, while also addressing split up rumors.
“We want to make sure that our truth is out there for you guys and our genuine excitement and support of each other for the next chapter of our career, of our music, and of our journey,” Tyler shared in a message on Twitter, while adding that “a lot’s changed,” and they’re very excited for one another.
Tyler is set to drop a new collab with Tim McGraw, a song titled “Undivided” on January 13, while Brian is working on a solo album that he will be releasing in the summer.
Tyler and Brian also talked about Florida Georgia Line‘s upcoming album Life Rolls On, which is set to be released in February. They also reassured fans that the solo projects does not mean they are splitting up.
“Just to clarify, FGL is not breaking up so anyone who says that… we’re not breaking up,” Tyler said. “We’re just venturing out.”
The guys first sparked split rumors back in November after Tyler unfollowed Brian on Instagram. In a later interview, Tyler explained why he unfollowed his bandmate.
This may be a little long but it’s real and that’s what FGL is all about. We love our fans and want to share with you guys everything we are working on and excited about this year. Here’s to 2021 being the BEST YEAR YET. Let’s gooooo! pic.twitter.com/1tYzVGpLI6
