Caitriona Balfe looks so regal in her bold blue dress at the Valentino show as part of the Paris Fashion Week Womenswear Fall/Winter 2020/2021 on Sunday (March 1) in Paris, France.

The Outlander star was joined on the front row at the presentation by Angela Bassett, Zoey Deutch, and Janelle Monae.

Caitriona Balfe‘s version of Jamie Fraser doesn’t look a thing like Sam Heughan.

In the round table chat with Entertainment Weekly, the two Outlander stars, Sophie Skelton and Richard Rankin opened up about how the books influence them while playing their characters on screen.

When the conversation turned to if the four saw themselves in the character when they were reading the book, Caitriona revealed that her Jamie doesn’t look like Sam at all.

“My Jamie is a stud,” Caitriona admitted during the chat, to which Richard says that his Jamie looks “a lot more like me.”

Sam played into the joke, saying that his version of Jamie is “taller, and has redder hair.”

“I don’t picture us in the book when I’m reading it,” Caitriona added.

Season five of Outlander is airing now on Starz.

Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe are together again for the season five premiere of Outlander!

The stars walked the red carpet together for the season five premiere on Thursday evening (February 13) at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.

Fellow cast members at the premiere included Duncan Lacroix, Ed Speleers, Maria Doyle Kennedy, Lotte Verbeek, David Berry, Lauren Lyle, Richard Rankin, Sophie Skelton, and Yan Tual.

Outlander author Diana Gabaldon and executive producers Ronald D. Moore, Maril Davis, and Matthew B. Roberts were also in attendance.

During the premiere, it was revealed that the season five premiere has been released early – and you can watch it on the Starz app right now!

Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe took so much time to say hi to fans, sign autographs and take selfies outside of the Good Morning America studios on Wednesday (February 12) in New York City.

The Outlander stars appeared on the third hour of the today show, and during their appearance, they were asked if they have any pet peeves about each other.

“I’m very lucky to work with an amazing co-star,” Sam said!

Well, Caitriona has one pet peeve…”He knows what mine is! Sam, he’s the greatest guy, but he’s just not the best time-keeper.”

Sam was pressed again if he has one, but he did not!

“Nothing! She’s wonderful, isn’t she?” Sam said admiringly.

Sam and Caitriona are always so supportive of each other, if you didn’t already know!

Zazie and Caitriona were at the awards show to support their movies, which were up for Best Picture. Zazie starred in Joker, the most nominated movie of the night, while Caitriona starred in Ford v Ferrari.

Beanie was a presenter during the event.

Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe are opening up about the passion between Jamie and Claire in the upcoming season of Outlander.

The two stars stopped by Build Series on Tuesday (February 11) along with their on-screen daughter, Sophie Skelton, and Richard Rankin, to promote the new season ahead.

Sam says that “there’s a lot that they [Jamie and Claire] yearn for and they still haven’t had together.”

He continues, “We see in this season that there’s a life that they haven’t lived together, and there’s still romance and yearning for each other. When they’re apart, they need to reconnect and when they do, it’s passionate.”

The new season of Outlander premieres on Sunday, February 16 on Starz.

Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe went on Good Morning America on Tuesday (February 11) to chat about their hit show Outlander.

The pair were asked about the upcoming new season, as well as their amazing chemistry, both on screen and off, playing Jamie and Claire.

“Well, I think the amazing thing is, you know, Sam and I…we had no idea what this was gonna be, but we had to have each other’s backs….It’s become this great, organic friendship,” Caitriona said.

“Where do we go next?” Sam interjected.

“Of course it gets better with time. It just matures,” Sam added.
