The 39-year-old Step Up dancer and actress is set to star in the upcoming show, which “looks at the love stories connecting a diverse, disparate group of people in contemporary Los Angeles through the music that lives inside their hearts and minds.”

Stars of the series include Callie Hernandez, Paul James, Campbell Scott and Madeleine Stowe. The series was created by Gossip Girl and Smash executive producer Josh Safran.

Victor Garber wears a top hat on the red carpet at the opening night of Broadway’s A Christmas Carol on Wednesday (November 20) at the Lyceum Theatre in New York City.

The 70-year-old actor watched Campbell Scott, Andrea Martin, and LaChanze in the new take on the classic story.

Some of the other opening night guests included Broadway stars like Jessie Mueller, married couple Andy Karl and Orfeh, Drew Gehling and girlfriend Julia Mattison, Beth Leavel, and more.

The 37-year-old Step Up actress has landed a role in the 10-episode first season of the new Netflix series, which was previously a Fox pilot, Variety reports.

Hailing from Quantico creator Joshua Safran, the series also stars Callie Hernandez, Madeline Stowe, Jahmil French, Campbell Scott, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Megan Ferguson, and Evan Whitten.

The role of Raul Castillo, the male lead in the pilot, will be recast, as he recently booked a recurring role on Netflix show One Day at a Time.
