Charlotte Lawrence has revealed that she has tested positive for the Covid-19 coronavirus.

The 19-year-old singer, and daughter of actress Christa Miller and screenwriter Bill Lawrence, joins many other celebs who have shared their results.

“I am going to be completely fine,” Charlotte reassured everyone. “But many who get it won’t be if too many people get sick too quickly.”

She also urged fans to stay indoors during this time.

“Stay inside. Please. Whether you feel sick or not, stay inside. Think about your parents. Think about your grandparents. I love so many people who might have a very tough time getting through this. This about someone else getting your loved ones sick because they didn’t listen, because they thought they knew better. Because they were selfish.”

Charlotte continues, “We have the power to slow this down. So please, please isolate yourself. Stay lean. Stay informed. Stay aware and make others aware.”

The soundtrack for the new film Birds of Prey – Birds of Prey: The Album – has arrived!

The project was released on Friday (February 7) to coincide with the movie’s premiere.

The all-female soundtrack companion to the new film starring Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn features Halsey’s brand-new single “Experiment On Me” as well as tracks from Lauren Jauregui, Summer Walker, Sofi Tukker, and more.

Previously released songs include “Boss Bitch” by Doja Cat, “Diamonds” by Megan Thee Stallion and Normani, and “Sway With Me” by Saweetie and Galxara.

Charlotte Lawrence has released her new single “Joke’s On You,” which will be featured on the soundtrack for the upcoming movie Birds of Prey!

The 19-year-old singer is one of many artists who will be featured on the soundtrack for the upcoming DC Comics movie starring Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn.

“i’m so f–king happy and excited about this song- i hope u like ittttt!!!!!!❤️ felt very badass to sing this, & its the first song i, myself, recorded electric guitar on!!!!🥰 thank you @kevweaver @atlanticrecords @birdsofprey for this amazing opportunity❤️,” Charlotte wrote on Instagram.

“The joke’s on you / God knows I’ve tried to be kind / But I won’t just lay down and die / Wearing a fake smile / The joke’s on you,” Charlotte sings in the chorus for the song. Read the full lyrics sheet below!

In a Q&A video, Charlotte opened up about the meaning behind her track “Why Do You Love Me.”

“It’s all about the feeling of wanting somebody so badly – only when they don’t want you back – and loving them and wanting them and needing them, but only when they’re not nice to you or they’re mean to you,” she explained.

She added, “Then right when they like you again, you’re like, eh, I’m over it. But I’m aware of that and then I’m still doing it and going back to it. So yeah, it’s just me as a crazy person.”

Here’s what the 19-year-old singer shared:

On artists that inspire her music: “If I made a playlist just for me that nobody else would ever see that I could just listen to on repeat, it would be sad, beautiful, emo, dark songs by Joni Mitchell, and Bon Iver, and Damien Rice and Phoebe Bridgers, Mazzy Star, you know? My favorite type of music is the slow, beautiful type that can really make you feel emotional. I don’t know why, but I love feeling my feelings. It’s such a special feeling to listen to a song that connects with someone to the point where they think that the song was written for them. Joni Mitchell is a lyrical genius, and shaped who I am today as an artist– like, there would be no me without Joni Mitchell.”

On what she’d be doing if not music: “Right now in my life, if I wasn’t a singer, I would want to be in college studying, maybe, criminal law? Honestly, maybe I watch too much SVU but I would love to be a lawyer. I would have liked to work in crime or be a policewoman, that would be so f***ing sick.”

On how she was inspired by her parents: “Oh my gosh, my parents both inspired me an INSANE amount from such an early age! I realized that the only reason why I’m a songwriter is because of my father, and the only reason why I have such cool taste in music (in my opinion) is because of my mother and I’m so grateful for that every single day. I think that my mother and father are both geniuses in what they do. With my dad being a writer, I always saw him as super smart and meticulous. He’s just the coolest f***ing dude I know. And my mom, although she’s an actress, she also does the music supervision for the shows that she acts on and for my dad’s shows and she’s f***ing incredible.”

Charlotte Lawrence dropped a brand new song this weekend!

The 19-year-old singer released “Navy Blue“, which she wrote and produced with Andrew Watt, Ryan Tedder, Ali Tamposi and Charlie Puth.

“This song is so important to me, one of those “turn your pain into art” type of moments. hope it can affect you all in one way or another.🦋🌙,” Charlotte wrote on social media. “thank u @thisiswatt @alitamposi @charlieputh @ryantedder for making this with me, and @maarckaalman for ur special creative brain love u all but u already know that!!!!”

Charlotte will also be heading out on tour this November, with stops in Atlanta, Nashville, Columbus, and more!
