Judith Light Joins 'Transparent' Cast at Musical Series Finale Premiere!

Judith Light is ready to share the final episode of Transparent!

The 70-year-old actress joined the rest of the show’s cast at the premiere of their musical finale on Friday night (September 13) at Regal LA Live in Los Angeles.

She was also joined by her co-stars Amy Landecker, Gaby Hoffmann, Jay Duplass, Shakina Nayfack, Trace Lysette and Kathryn Hahn.

Other cast mates in attendance included Cherry Jones, Bradley Whitford, Melora Hardin, Jill Soloway and Alexandra Grey.

Amazon’s official synopsis of the finale promises “a dazzling two-hour movie musical fantasia. When the Pfeffermans face a life-changing loss, they begin a journey hilarious and melancholy, brazen and bold. As they face this new transition, they confront grief and come together to celebrate connection, joy, and transformation.”

The movie, which hits theaters on November 1, was also directed and written by Edward, from the novel by Jonathan Letham.

Bruce Willis, Bobby Cannavale, Cherry Jones, Michael Kenneth Williams, Leslie Mann, Ethan Suplee, Dallas Roberts, Josh Pais, Robert Ray Wisdom, Fisher Stevens, Alec Baldwin and Willem Dafoe also star in the film.

Here’s a plot summary: set against the backdrop of 1950s New York, the movie follows Lionel Essrog (Norton), a lonely private detective living with Tourette Syndrome, as he ventures to solve the murder of his mentor and only friend, Frank Minna (Willis). Armed only with a few clues and the engine of his obsessive mind, Lionel unravels closely-guarded secrets that hold the fate of the whole city in the balance. In a mystery that carries him from gin-soaked jazz clubs in Harlem to the hard-edged slums of Brooklyn and, finally, into the gilded halls of New York’s power brokers, Lionel contends with thugs, corruption and the most dangerous man in the city to honor his friend and save the woman who might be his own salvation.

The fun-filled trailer for the upcoming Wine Country has been released!

Amy Poehler teamed up with Maya Rudolph, Rachel Dratch, Emily Spivey, Ana Gasteyer, and Paula Pell for her directorial debut in the Netflix comedy.

Here’s the synopsis: Abby (Poehler) tries to organize the perfect 50th birthday trip for pal Rebecca (Dratch), but unsurprisingly the alcohol-fueled weekend causes old drama and tension to emerge among the longtime friends.

Tina Fey, Cherry Jones, and Jason Schwartzman also star in the movie.

Wine Country premieres on Netflix on May 10.

Daniel Radcliffe joins co-stars Bobby Cannavale and Cherry Jones as they step out for the photo call of their new Broadway show The Lifespan of a Fact on Thursday afternoon (September 6) at the New 42nd Street Studios in New York City.

The co-stars were joined at the event by their director Leigh Silverman as they promoted their upcoming new show.

The Lifespan of a Fact is based on the 2012 bestselling non-fiction book by John D’Agata and Jim Fingal about their real-life investigation into the suicide of a Las Vegas teenager.

The show will begin performances at the Studio 54 on Broadway theater on September 20, with opening night on October 18. The show will run for 16 weeks. You can get tickets here!
