Chet Hanks‘ ex-girlfriend is responding to his lawsuit against her.
Last month, the 30-year-old son of Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson sued his ex-girlfriend Kiana Parker after an apparent physical altercation in January, where he accused her of “attacking” him with a knife, while also claiming that she stole money from him.
On Monday (April 12), Kiana filed a $1 million civil lawsuit against Chet, claiming he physically and verbally assaulted her during their relationship. The two started dating in March 2019.
During a press conference in Texas on Tuesday, Kiana‘s attorney said that Chet had shown “an ever-escalating pattern of domestic abuse” towards Kiana.
“This is about violence within the confines of a relationship between a man and a woman, a man who mentally and physically and psychologically battered, Kiana Parker,” attorney Kevin Murray said.
According to court document obtained by People, Kiana claims that back in October 2020, the two had an argument in their New Orleans hotel room, in which Chet allegedly “grabbed me by the wrist forcefully pulled me into him telling me we were going back to the [hotel] room.”
Kiana added that Chet “became aggressive and hostile about what transpired earlier” and “started harassing me verbally and forcefully shoving me.”
She went on to describe her attempts to leave the hotel room, but Chet stopped her by allegedly throwing a “bottle” at her, and that he “began to grab me and drag me away from the door.”
Then in December 2020 at their home in Sugar Land, Texas, Kiana claims that Chet threatened to shoot her. She said that her nine-year-old twin sons were also home at the time, and that she took them to her mother’s house to keep them safe. Kiana also said that she hid Chet‘s gun so he wouldn’t use it.
After Kiana filed the lawsuit, Chet‘s attorney released a statement, which was obtained by The Daily Beast.
“We consider the claims filed by Kiana Parker to be a shakedow,” lawyer Marty Singer said. “Her claims are completely false, fabricated and fictional.”
Chet‘s legal drama comes after he was dragged on Twitter for saying he wants a “white boy summer.”

The suit from the 30-year-old son of Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson comes after an apparent physical altercation in January that left him bleeding, as seen in footage obtained by TMZ on Wednesday (March 31).
In the video, he accuses his ex of “attacking” him with a knife while she’s heard in the background saying “you pushed me.”
“Now you’re flipping the story,” he said in the video, claiming she allegedly stole money from him.
The incident took place at his home in Sugarland, Texas on January 8, according to TMZ.
He is suing Kiana for theft, assault, conversion and battery according to court docs obtained by People.
In the documents, he claims she had “stolen money from him to pay for her travel expenses and travel expenses for her friend” as well as money for rent totaling over $5,000.
He claims he canceled the lease on a rental home in Houston, Texas when the two split and began to move out. And on January 8, he says she arrived at the home with “three menacing large men,” and one “showed that he had a gun.”
He also claimed his ex walked toward him “holding a pot and a knife” and “smashed [Chet] over the face with the pot and cut him with the knife.”
His attorney, Marty Singer, said in a statement: “The day after Chet Hanks confronted Kiana Parker about stealing money from his credit card, while Ms. Parker was accompanied by a huge male carrying a gun, she viciously attacked Chet with a knife, which caused him to profusely bleed. It is all on video and the undisputed video tells the whole story. Her claims are completely false, fabricated and fictional.”
Kiana’s attorney, D’Angelo Lowe, told TMZ that she is under doctor’s care at the moment, and that she’s tried serving him to no avail.
Chet Hanks also came under fire on social media recently for a term he’s using to describe this summer.
Chet Hanks is being dragged on Twitter after he posted an Instagram video about how a “white boy summer” is coming.
The 30-year-old actor and musician is the son of Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson and people are making lots of jokes about his relation to the actors.
“I just got this feeling that this summer is about to be a white boy summer. Take it how you want it. I’m not talking about Trump, Nascar type white boy summer, I’m talking about me, Jon B, Jack Harlow type white boy summer. You know what I mean? Let me know if you guys can vibe with that,” he says in the video.
In the caption to the post, Chet asked his 377,000 followers to “tag a REAL vanilla king.” Well, the post definitely didn’t go over well with people.

Tom Hanks‘ son Chet Hanks is publicly shooting his shot with Adele after her controversial photo.
“PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ADELE HIT MY LINE ASAP !!!!!!!!!!!! I NEED TO TALK TO HER ABOUT SOMETHING,” the 30-year-old captioned a photo of him listening to Adele‘s “Set Fire to the Rain” and jamming out before breaking into his patois accent, which he has been known to do on occasion.
In the controversial photo that Adele posted, she is wearing a Jamaican flag bikini and has been accused of cultural appropriation.
Unfortunately for Chet, it seems like Adele may be dating this celeb!
Chet Hanks is (once again) the voice of reason we all need right now.
The 29-year-old actor took to Instagram on Monday (March 16) to let concerned fans know how his parents Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson are doing after testing positive for coronavirus.
Fans will be happy to know that the couple has since left the hospital and are now under quarantine at a rental home.
“They’re out of the hospital,” Chet Hanks said. “They’re still self-quarantined obviously, but they’re feeling a lot better, so that’s a relief.”
“My prayers go out to you because a lot of people are suffering other than my parents right now,” he continued. “I think the most important thing is we just stay calm because panicking really isn’t necessary, and it’s just making things more difficult than they need to be. If you went to the grocery store and hoarded all the water and toilet paper for yourself I think you’re the problem.”
“You should think more all of others for once,” he added. “I think if we all just be a little less selfish and a little more selfless we’re gonna be completely fine.”

Chet Hanks filmed a video update for fans of his parents, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, just a few hours after it was revealed they had tested positive for coronavirus.
“What’s up everyone?” the 29-year-old started in the video on his Instagram. “Yeah, it’s true. My parents got Coronavirus. Crazy. They’re both down in Australia right now because my dad was shooting a movie down there but I just got off the phone with them. They both are fine, they’re not even that sick.”
Chet added that Tom and Rita are “not worried about it” either.
“They’re not trippin’ but they’re going through the necessary health precautions obviously,” he adds. “But I don’t think it’s anything to be too worried about. I appreciate everyone’s concern and the well wishes but I think it’s all going to be alright but I appreciate it and just, everybody stay safe out there. Much love.”
Rita and Tom are the two biggest names who have tested positive for the virus since its’ outbreak.
A Broadway usher and basketball player have also tested positive.
