Christina Aguilera kicked off the first night of her two-show weekend at the Hollywood Bowl with an epic performance.

The “Beautiful” singer performed to a packed house on Friday night (July 16) at the open-air venue in Los Angeles, where she joined the LA Philharmonic for a set of her hit songs and some classic standards.

Christina noted how she lived out her dreams with this show, bringing up how she grew up around classical music thanks to her violinist mother who performed in symphonies.

“I’ve never at one time, I don’t think, been around so many amazing, incredible artists, musicians, writers, dancers, movers all in the same night. I have a lovely family of amazing incredible people, but tonight I wanted to thank the Hollywood Bowl and the LA Phil for inviting me to perform,” Christina said, adding a big thanks to the “legendary” conductor Gustavo Dudamel.

Christina Aguilera is getting her fans excited for her big return to the stage!

The 40-year-old singer surprised her fans at an Xtina-themed SoulCycle class on Thursday (July 15) in West Hollywood, Calif.

All attendees at the class were given two free tickets to Christina‘s show at the Hollywood Bowl this weekend. She is performing two concerts at the famed venue alongside the LA Philharmonic. The shows are happening on Friday and Saturday!

“Surprise @soulcycle!! 🔥 Thanks for all the love & see you at the show 💋,” Christina wrote on her Instagram along with a video from the surprise moment.

Christina Aguilera has a lot planned for her Fighters!

The 40-year-old “Beautiful” singer spoke to LA Times for an interview ahead of her forthcoming orchestral shows at the Hollywood Bowl over the weekend.

“I’ve been in the studio working on two records,” she revealed.

“Sometimes in the studio, certain notes are a struggle — you’re boxed into this confined booth — compared to when you’re with an audience and the live musicianship takes your adrenaline to the next level. I’m like, ‘Wait, that note is much easier to hit onstage,’” she added of the live experience versus recording.

She then clarified what she’s working on.

“An English record and a Spanish record. The last time I did a Spanish record was when I was baby Christina — Mi Reflejo. It was such a beautiful moment for me to pay tribute to my roots on my father’s side — he’s from Ecuador — and ever since I’ve been wanting to do another one. So it’s really 20 years overdue, except now I’m kind of glad it was so long because I’ve been able to come back and dig deeper into some of my personal stories regarding my dad. I’ve always had a very estranged relationship with him, and I’m kind of touching on that.”

As for the other album, she called it a “totally different feel.”

“I’m working with producers and writers that I’ve been a big fan of for a long time. One in particular is Joseph Angel — he wrote ‘Love on the Brain’ for Rihanna. But all the writers come from such a deep, heartfelt place. It’s not about us trying to fit a mold; it’s a grown perspective that embodies everything I’ve experienced in this business and on a personal level. I made a lot of changes over quarantine — new people, new support team. The experience helped you realize who your ride-or-dies are. I’m in a really happy place, and I’ve never been able to fully say that.”

Christina Aguilera is speaking out in support of Britney Spears, days after the pop star spoke out in court against the conservatorship she has been under for the past 13 years.

For those who don’t know, Christina and Britney grew up together as cast members on The All-New Mickey Mouse Club from 1993 to 1994. They then rose to fame in the pop music world at the same time.

Britney and Christina presented together at the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards and then famously performed with Madonna at the VMAs in 2003.

Christina Aguilera is back on stage!

The 40-year-old entertainer returned to the stage for a performance held during the grand opening of the Virgin Hotels Las Vegas on Thursday night (June 10) in Las Vegas.

For her performance, Christina rocked a skin-tight, black latex top and a matching headscarf paired with black jeans and gold belts.

For her set, Christina played a bunch of her hit songs, including “Fighter” and “Dirrty.”

Before taking the stage, Christina went shirtless under a brown and black suit as she posed for a few photos.

After her performance, Christina took to Instagram to celebrate her return to the stage.

“Thanks for getting rowdy with me last night, Vegas 🖤” Christina wrote. “It’s so crazy to think the last show I did in front of a live audience was in Vegas over a year ago in March 2020, right before I got back to LA and everything shut down.”

“Last night was an incredible full circle moment — reuniting with my fam on stage and being able to get back to what I love & was born to do…now recharged, reinspired and focused,” Christina continued. “It was wonderful to see everyone’s beautiful faces in the crowd, feeling the love and joy that can only be communicated through live music & connection through song! It’s a special feeling and I can’t wait to share more music and fun in the future!! Back at it!!✨💫”

Last month, Christina was spotted out on a rare date night with fiance Matthew Rutler.

FYI: Christina is wearing a Mugler suit and a Vex black latex bodysuit.

The 40-year-old “Fighter” superstar and the 36-year-old guitarist were spotted out on a date night on Thursday night (May 20) in Malibu, Calif.

Christina was seen holding onto Matthew‘s arm as they made their way back to their car. She looked fashionable in an all-black ensemble, while Matthew kept it casual in a jacket and jeans.

The 40-year-old “Accelerate” superstar is on the cover of the May 2021 issue of Health Magazine.

Here’s what she had to say…

On life slowing down over COVID: “It was a great time to be hunkered down in my house with my kids. I really got a moment to do little things, like be in my backyard, read books that had been on my to-read list, and go through my old diaries. I have this massive trunk of old diaries that I’ve literally kept from the past 20 years of my life. I was able to catch up on them and do some self-reflecting. It really forced me to be silent and take a look at myself. In some regard, I wasn’t happy with a lot of things, and it’s scary to face those feelings that, under normal circumstances, you don’t have time to face because everyone is going, going, going. That grind is praised, but I think we’re all understanding that having moments to self-reflect and just breathe are crucial. I’ve been working since I was 7 years old. When I’m not working, there’s a heavy amount of guilt that I feel. It’s been embedded in me since I was little—you’re shamed if you don’t want to keep up. As a child [entertainer], you’re all pitted against one another, and other children are all about that grind too. It’s a weird space to grow up in.”
