Carrie Underwood is taking over the 2021 CMT Music Awards stage with an incredible performance!

The 38-year-old country music superstar looked absolutely stunning in a black and white sparkling suit as she performed during the awards show on Wednesday night (June 9) from the Bonnaroo Farm in Manchester, Tenn.

Joining Carrie on stage was the music group NEEDTOBREATHE and they all performed their brand new duet “I Wanna Remember.”

Shortly after the performance, Carrie found out she took home the top honor of the night, winning Video of the Year for her duet “Hallelujah” with John Legend.

“Fans, thank you so much, fans,” Carrie said while accepting the award. “You guys, you are the reason we are all here doing what we do, doing what we love, making music videos.”

“John Legend, thank you for sending me this incredible song and agreeing to sing with me on it and making this incredible video that I am so proud of, and congratulations on what I think is your first CMT Award!” she continued, adding, “God bless you guys. Thank you so much! Thank you, fans! Thank you, CMT!”

The winners of the 2021 CMT Music Awards have been announced!

The annual country music awards ceremony took place on Wednesday night (June 9) with co-hosts Kelsea Ballerini and Kane Brown from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn.

Heading into the big night, Kane, Maren Morris and Miranda Lambert led the nominations with four nods each.

H.E.R. hits the red carpet at the 2021 CMT Awards held at Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday night (June 9) in Nashville, Tenn.

The 23-year-old singer-songwriter rocked a pair of super studded boots with her chic look. She was just recently announced as a performer at the show.

H.E.R. will be performing a track with country star Chris Stapleton at the event.

“One of the most kind and most INCREDIBLE voices on this planet @ChrisStapleton!” she wrote on Twitter just a day before the show.

Fans were very excited for the performance too, with one writing, “Just heard about this @HERMusicx + @ChrisStapleton collab and it honestly kinda made my whole day. Love them BOTH and can’t wait to see what they’re cooking up together.”

Carly Pearce, Lady A, and Lindsay Ell are kicking off the 2021 CMT Music Awards!

The country stars all took over the stage for the first performance of the night at the awards ceremony on Wednesday night (June 9) at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn.

Carly and Lindsay joined Lady A members David Haywood, Hillary Scott, and Charles Kelley for a performance of the group’s hit song “Like a Lady.”

If you missed it, Carly walked the red carpet ahead of the awards show with quite possibly the best date ever!

Miranda Lambert is taking over the 2021 CMT Music Awards stage!

The 37-year-old country music star was joined on stage by her The Marfa Tapes co-creators Jack Ingram and Jon Randall for performance at the awards show on Wednesday night (June 9) in Nashville, Tenn.

For their performance, Miranda, Jack, and Jon sat around a firepit on stage as they strung guitars while performing their song “Tequila Does.”

“Tequila Does” first appeared on her 2019 album Wildcard, then again on The Marfa Tapes, which was released earlier this year.

Miranda is up for four awards tonight, including Video of the Year and Female Video of the year. You can check out the full list of nominees here.

The group – featuring Philip Sweet, Kimberly Schlapman, Jimi Westbrook, and Karen Fairchild – posed together on the red carpet at the 2021 CMT Awards held at Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday night (June 9) in Nashville, Tenn.

Mickey Guyton shines in a yellow gown while arriving at the 2021 CMT Awards held at Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday night (June 9) in Nashville, Tenn.

The 37-year-old singer posed for pictures ahead of her performances at the ceremony tonight.

Mickey will be performing two times at the show, one with Breland, and another time with icon Gladys Knight, who is also pictured below on the red carpet.

“Can’t wait! Performing with @MsGladysKnight and @breland on the #CMTAwards tonight at 8/7c! @CMT,” Mickey shared on her Twitter, getting fans excited for the performances.

Mickey is up for three awards at the show tonight too – Video of the Year and Female Video of the Year for “Heaven Down Here”, and Breakthrough Video of the Year for “Black Like Me.”
