Dakota Johnson is weighing in on whether the dress is blue and black or white and gold – 6 years after the debate initially took place!

In case you need a refresher, the dress became a viral internet sensation in 2015 after social media users disagreed whether it was blue and black or white and gold.

A number of celebrities took to social media to share their thoughts on what color the dress was.

In a segment on The Tonight Show called “Dakota Johnson Settles It” on Tuesday (January 19), the Fifty Shades of Grey actress shared her take on the dress drama.

“It’s white and gold,” Dakota told Jimmy Fallon, “but it actually sort of looks blue and gold.”

Dakota also revealed whether she was Team Edward or Team Jacob, how she pronounces the word “GIF” and if she thought Jack could have fit on the door with Rose in Titanic.

Rumors are swirling that Dakota Johnson might be engaged to Chris Martin after she was spotted wearing a massive ring on that special finger.

The 31-year-old Fifty Shades of Grey actress was seen with an emerald green stone on her ring finger while shopping last week in West Hollywood. The photos can be seen on Page Six.

Dakota and Chris, 43, have been dating since late 2017 and they have kept their relationship relatively private. The couple was spotted taking a ride in her vintage car just a couple weeks ago in Malibu.

The couple briefly split in 2019 and it has been said that Chris‘ ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow was actually the one who pushed them to get back together.

Chris and Gwyneth share two children – daughter Apple, 16, and son Moses, 14 – and Dakota has been spotted spending lots of time with them over the years.

The couple was seen at the beach with the kids over the summer.

One year ago, Dakota Johnson made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and had an encounter with host Ellen DeGeneres that was so awkward, it remains heavily referenced and meme-d by the Internet to this day.

During the appearance, the Peanut Butter Falcon actress was asked about her 30th birthday party, and Ellen awkwardly grilled Dakota about not being invited – to which Dakota insisted she was.

“Actually that’s not true, Ellen…Ask anybody, ask your producer,” she said.

“Oh right, I had that thing,” Ellen joked.

If you don’t know, Dakota has been busy filming Maggie Gyllenhaal‘s new movie The Lost Daughter on the island for a few weeks now.

The movie has a great cast including Olivia Colman, Paul Mescal, Oliver Jackson-Cohen and more. Currently, the film does not have a release date but it is expected sometime next year.

Dakota Johnson is set to star in a new series.

The 31-year-old Fifty Shades actress will co-executive produce and co-star alongside Riley Keough in an upcoming series based on Bexy Cameron‘s upcoming memoir Cult Following, Deadline reported Thursday (October 29).

Here’s a plot summary, based on Bexy Cameron‘s memoir: “the story follows her as she recounts her upbringing in the notorious cult Children of God. After emancipating herself at the age of 16 and building a life away from the cult, as an adult Cameron (Johnson) embarks on a road trip with a close friend (Keough) to investigate and document contemporary cults existing in America today. Two young women set out on the ‘adventure’ of a lifetime and Cameron’s emphatic, raw and at times incredibly funny experience on the road runs parallel to her examining and processing the psychology and trauma of her own childhood being raised in a cult. It’s a journey of meltdowns, meth cooks, monks, Jesus freaks, soap-making Armageddonists, surveillance vans, ex-Apple employees and finally, Cameron’s confrontation of her parents and ultimately herself.”

“It has been a dream of ours since we launched TeaTime to collaborate with Riley and Gina at Felix Culpa. We are beyond thrilled to join forces and friendship to bring Bexy’s remarkable story to the screen. Alongside Platform One, we look forward to adding the final top notch collaborators to the team,” Dakota and production partner Ro Donnelly said in a statement.

The memoir will be published on July 8, 2021.

At the same time, Dakota is hard at work filming for this upcoming production.
