It looks like Dane Cook might be one of the interim guest hosts for Jeopardy!

The 48-year-old comedian revealed to his fans on Twitter that the show called his team to see his interest in appearing as a host on the show, following Alex Trebek‘s passing earlier in the month.

“I could barely spit out, ‘WHAT IS.. YES?’ quick enough,” Dane shared of his answer to their question. “I hope this can happen. I would love to honor Alex Trebek in that fashion!”

Back in 2018, Dane, who is an avid watcher of the program, was featured on the show as a question.

“I love Jeopardy, I can just watch it and get away from it all,” he joked just ahead of the question that was featured.

The question referenced his half brother, who had embezzled millions of dollars from him while working as his business manager earlier in the decade.

Dane Cook is sharing some behind-the-scenes details about the Fast Times at Ridgemont High reading, including how he get both Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt to appear!

The comedian and actor revealed that Jen was the first one to sign on for the event, but neither of them had any issues or gave any rules about their participation.

The event was streamed last week on Facebook and TikTok as a fundraiser for the CORE organization and its COVID-19 relief efforts.

During the reading, Brad and Jen, who used to be married, interacted in a very erotic scene and fans loved every second of it.

The Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt virtual reunion will be bringing them together onscreen!

As previously announced, the two stars will participate in Dane Cook‘s upcoming Dane Cook Presents Feelin’ A-Live: Fast Times at Ridgemont High virtual live table read – and Dane promises it’ll be an “onscreen” reunion.

“It’s hard to not have those really great, dare I say, holy s-t, entertainment moments, which we have summer to summer — the big movie or the big moment. And when I didn’t see that was happening, when I started seeing the films that I was anticipating most move out of the summertime spot, I thought, man, wouldn’t it be great if somehow, some way we could still create a version of that moment? And I think we have the chance to do that, which is so damn cool,” he explained to People.

It hasn’t been revealed which actor will play which role in the reading, but Dane promises of the pair: “I can tell you that you will see them onscreen together.”

The cast for the reading includes original star Sean Penn as well as Morgan Freeman, Henry Golding, Shia LaBeouf, Matthew McConaughey, Julia Roberts and Jimmy Kimmel, as well as John Legend and Ray Liotta, People confirmed.

The former couple had everyone talking back in February 2019 when he showed up at her 50th birthday party. (See photos of the tons of stars who attended that event!)

They then were photographed together backstage at the 2020 SAG Awards after she won an award.

A star-studded virtual table reading of the movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High is taking place next week and it’s going to be great!

The 1982 movie starred Sean Penn, was directed by Amy Heckerling, and was written by Cameron Crowe. While Sean will be participating in the table reading, he will not be reprising his role as Jeff Spicoli.

Dane Cook is presenting the “Feelin’ A-Live” fundraiser to benefit the emergency relief nonprofit CORE, which was co-founded by Sean, as well as the criminal justice reform organization REFORM Alliance.

The cast will include Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts, Matthew McConaughey, Henry Golding, Shia LaBeouf, and Morgan Freeman. More casting will be announced soon and the roles they’re playing won’t be revealed until the event takes place.

“On behalf of our dedicated team at CORE, I’m so appreciative of the support Dane has given and continues to give to our work. I’m always game for a giggle. So, to gather remotely for a night of laughs with so many talented folks while providing CORE with much-needed resources to continue our vital work, then consider us fully onboard to play!” Sean said in a statement.

The event will stream live on Facebook on Thursday (August 20) at 9pm ET / 6pm PT.

Dane Cook is poking fun at his relationship!

The 47-year-old comedian made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday night (October 7).

During his appearance, Dane talked about getting old, and also revealed why being in love with a much younger girlfriend is terrible for his comedy. (If you didn’t know, Dane‘s girlfriend Kelsi Taylor is 26 years younger.)

Later on, he compared his mortifying first headshots with Jimmy.

Dane Cook stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday (February 14) and opened up about his relationship with 20-year-old girlfriend Kelsi Taylor.

“My girlfriend and I, we get a lot of crap from people because we have an age difference,” the comedian told Jimmy. “I’m 46, and she’s 20.”

“Sometimes I actually find myself saying, ‘Where has she been all my life?’ And then I realize she wasn’t alive for the first 26 years of it,” Dane joked. “People are like, ‘You’re robbing the cradle. I was like, ‘She hasn’t slept in a cradle for, like, nine years. Relax.’”

Earlier in the day, Dane took to Instagram to share a sweet Valentine’s Day message to Kelsi.

“Happy Valentines Day to my Valentine @itskelsitaylor. I can’t say enough good stuff about this incredible woman,” Dane writes. “I’m a lucky sap to have her by my side. I like this pic because it captures how happy we are. We’ve already made amazing memories & I can’t wait to see what’s next — well besides us binge watching every season of Game of Thrones all over again before the new season.”

Dane and Kelsi have been linked to each other since January 2018.
