Danny DeVito is addressing Colin Farrell playing Penguin in The Batman for the first time!

The 75-year-old actor, who played Penguin aka Oswald Cobblepot in the 1992 movie Batman Returns, said he’s looking forward to 44-year-old actor playing the villainous role in upcoming movie.

“I haven’t spoken to him since, but I’m really looking forward to it,” Danny shared with Collider. “I think that no matter what, he’s gonna be great because he’s a great actor.”

Danny then (jokingly) gave Colin a warning about playing Penguin.

“The only thing he has to worry about is that Oswald Cobblepot will show up at his house…” Danny said before giving a Penguin grunt.

Angelina Jolie and Sam Rockwell are lending their voices to a heartwarming film.

The stars voice characters in Disney’s upcoming The One & Only Ivan, hitting streaming on Disney+ on August 14.

Here’s a plot summary: “An adaptation of the award-winning book about one very special gorilla, Disney’s The One and Only Ivan is an unforgettable tale about the beauty of friendship, the power of visualization and the significance of the place one calls home.”

“Ivan (Rockwell) is a 400-pound silverback gorilla who shares a communal habitat in a suburban shopping mall with Stella (Jolie) the elephant, Bob (Danny DeVito) the dog, and various other animals. He has few memories of the jungle where he was captured, but when a baby elephant named Ruby (Brooklynn Prince) arrives, it touches something deep within him. Ruby is recently separated from her family in the wild, which causes him to question his life, where he comes from and where he ultimately wants to be. The heartwarming adventure, which comes to the screen in an impressive hybrid of live-action and CGI, is based on Katherine Applegate’s bestselling book, which won numerous awards upon its publication in 2013, including the Newbery Medal.”

The upcoming movie The One and Only Ivan will be released exclusively on the streaming service Disney+ instead of in theaters as originally planned!

Angelina Jolie produced the movie and she voices one of the characters in the film, which you’ll be able to watch on August 21.

Another movie that was supposed to go to theaters was just released on Disney+ today.

Danny DeVito is pleading with his fans in a new video, and urging them to stay put in their homes during the coronavirus pandemic.

Many states in the United States have issued shelter-in-place orders, and the 75-year-old actor is hoping residents of his state of New York take note and do the same, even without the executive order.

New York does have a “PAUSE” plan, which bans all nonessential gatherings of individuals “of any size for any reason”, and if you must go out to obtain essential services or items, you have to keep a 6-foot distance from others.

“I’m asking you from the bottom of my heart all over the state of New York to say home,” Danny shares in a video from ABC News. “I mean everybody. I mean, we got this virus, this pandemic, and you know, young people can get it and they can transmit it to old people, and the next thing you know, I’m outta there.”

He continued, “Governor Cuomo asked me to ask you, please, do us a favor, all of us, and stay home and not spread this virus around. Thank you.”

Danny also suggested that those staying at home can “watch a little TV, why dontcha!”

Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart ride a truck on the red carpet while arriving for the premiere of their movie Jumanji: The Next Level at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Monday (December 9) in Hollywood.

The four actors were joined at the event by co-stars Danny DeVito, Danny Glover, Awkwafina, Rhys Darby, Colin Hanks, Dania Ramirez, and Lamorne Morris.

Also in attendance at the premiere were Dwayne‘s wife Lauren Hashian and Kevin‘s wife Eniko Parrish.

Jumanji: The Next Level will hit theaters on December 13.

The cast of Jumanji: The Next Level have kicked off their press tour!

Awkwafina, Danny Glover, Kevin Hart, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Danny DeVito, Jack Black and Karen Gillan got together to raise a toast of champagne while attending their photo call for Jumanji: The Next Level held at the Montage Los Cabos on Wednesday (November 20) in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and the rest of the cast were also joined by producers Matt Tolmach and Hiram Garcia as they also took part in a press conference for the film.

In Jumanji: The Next Level, the gang is back but the game has changed. As they return to Jumanji to rescue one of their own, they discover that nothing is as they expect. The players will have to brave parts unknown and unexplored, from the arid deserts to the snowy mountains, in order to escape the world’s most dangerous game. You can watch the newest trailer now!

The Taxi actor made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday night (October 3).

During his appearance, Danny talked about starring in Always Sunny in Philadelphia, playing the violin on Taxi, his real mom playing his mother on the show, the Jumanji sequel and working with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Later on, Jimmy did his best impression of Danny with the help of an insanely realistic looking mask.
