Riley Keough joins director Janicza Bravo and A’Ziah King on the red carpet at the premiere of Zola held at DGA Theater Complex on Tuesday night (June 29) in Los Angeles

Colman Domingo, Dave Franco, Minnie Driver and Riley‘s husband, Ben Smith-Petersen joined the three on the red carpet.

Other guests at the event included Isis King, Sophie Hall, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Jeremy O. Harris, Arlo Parks, Tanisha Long, and Chelsea Peretti.

Inspired by AZiah‘s viral Twitter thread, Zola centers on a waitress/dancer who is seduced into a weekend of stripping in Florida for some quick cash — but the trip becomes a sleepless 48-hour odyssey involving a nefarious friend, her pimp and her idiot boyfriend.

Alison Brie is dishing on life under quarantine with husband Dave Franco.

In a new interview with People, the 38-year-old GLOW actress opened up about isolating with the 35-year-old actor, admitting that she had a lot of mixed emotions at the beginning of the pandemic last spring.

“It all really ebbed and flowed, I guess, because none of us knew how long it was going to last,” Alison shared. “Dave and I went through the first couple months in party mode, thinking we’re on vacation — let’s drink wine, let’s make a lot of pasta. And then we like, it’s going on for longer, so let’s go into culinary experimental mode where we’re trying to make new dishes and things like that.”

After that Alison and Dave were able to get into their own little groove to make the best of the situation.

“And then we got into health mode, and then we also were in creative mode, and we were doing a lot of writing together,” Alison said. “So, I mean, I think we feel closer than ever.”

Alison went on to share how she and Dave enjoyed quarantining together because they were finally able to spend time together, something they didn’t often do because of their busy schedules.

“We feel really bonded, and we just an amazing year getting time together to hang out,” Alison explained. “There were also a lot of really hard things going on in our country, and it was also a really reflective time and a time to learn and hopefully grow in different ways. I guess I’m glad that we were able to be grateful for the time while we had it.”

Alison continued, “Even though our mental state was also ebbing and flowing, we did have an awareness of, we don’t always get this much time together, so let’s really try to enjoy one another and read stuff and learn, and also chill and give ourselves a break.”

“I do think it gave us some perspective too, just the way that we were prioritizing work before and moving so, so quickly,” Alison said. “We probably will get back to that state, but right now, it feels we’re easing back in, being like, ‘Okay, we don’t have to do everything.’ We can decide the important things.”

Just recently, it was announced that Dave would be starring opposite Tiffany Haddish in a new Apple comedy series called The Afterparty.

According to Variety, the limited series is set at a high school reunion afterparty. Each episode will feature a retelling of the same night told through a different character’s perspective, each with its own unique visual format and film genre to match the teller’s personality.

Dave will play Xavier, once a dorky high school drama student, now a famous pop star and actor.

The series will also star Sam Richardson, Zoe Chao, Ben Schwartz, Ike Barinholtz, Ilana Glazer, Jamie Demetriou, and John Early.

The 35-year-old Now You See Me actor debuted his new, bleached-blonde hair while picking up lunch on Saturday afternoon (October 24) in Los Feliz, Calif.

As of right now, it’s unclear if Dave dyed his hair for a new role or just for fun.

Back in July, it was reported that Dave will be playing a younger version of this rapper in a new movie.

Back in August, Dave attended a drive-in screening of his latest movie The Little Hours with co-star and wife Alison Brie along with Aubrey Plaza, Kate Micucci, and Fred Armisen.

The longtime couple collaborated on the new film and they were joined by other cast members like Alison Brie, Dave Franco, Kate Micucci, and Fred Armisen.

Jeff wrote and directed the film, in which Aubrey, Alison, and Kate play three unconventionally opinionated nuns who cross paths with a tempting new gardener. The 2017 movie is currently streaming on Netflix!

The 35-year-old actor and director’s horror movie, The Rental, is at the top spot of the box office for a second weekend in a row, Deadline reported Sunday (August 2).

The movie grossed $317,823 from 242 locations, bringing its 10-day gross to $916,333. It’s IFC’s first No. 1 movie at the box office. The movie also commands the No. 1 spot on iTunes’ Horror charts, as well as within the top 10 overall.
