The 51-year-old star of the CBS series is urging the network to renew the series, after they gave additional season orders to four other shows, including SWAT and NCIS, earlier this week.

CBS has yet to make a decision about David‘s show, which is a military drama that follows the professional and personal lives of the most elite unit of Navy SEALs as they train, plan and execute the most dangerous, high-stakes missions our country can ask of them.

“Let’s keep it going @cbstv,” David wrote on Instagram. “Thank you to all the fans and veterans’ for the support and love for this show. @sealteamcbs #ReNew this show. #NeverOutoftheFight.”

SEAL Team also stars Neil Brown Jr., Max Thierot, A.J. Buckley and Toni Trucks.

Here are all the shows that CBS has renewed and cancelled so far in 2021…

David Boreanaz Publicly Supports 'Buffy' Co-Star Charisma Carpenter Amid Joss Whedon Allegations

David Boreanaz is breaking his silence on the allegations of abuse and on-set misconduct by Joss Whedon on the set of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

If you don’t know, the 51-year-old actor portrayed the fan favorite character Angel on the show from 1997-2003, and then got his own spinoff show from 1999-2004.

It started last week when Charisma Carpenter came forward with allegations of abuse. Sarah Michelle Gellar quickly posted a brief statement as well, before Michelle Trachtenberg weighed in.

Fans then wanted to hear from David, as he was an integral part of the show.

Fans Urge David Boreanaz To Speak Out In Support of Charisma Carpenter After Her Claims Against Joss Whedon

Fans are calling out David Boreanaz to say anything in regards to the allegations against Joss Whedon from his longtime Angel and Buffy co-star Charisma Carpenter.

Earlier this week, the 50-year-old actress accused Joss of on set abuse and misconduct.

Many of her Buffy peers, including Sarah Michelle Gellar and Michelle Trachtenberg, have made statements in support of her. However, David has been notably silent, as pointed out by many fans.

“There is a responsibility here to stand up for what’s right and I’d always seen him do so. So why not this time?” one fan mused on Twitter about the situation. “He does have a responsibility to his cast mates and the fans. It’s worrying to see him delete his posts too. Now I feel like there’s more to the story.”

While his Twitter has been protected for quite some time, fans did notice that David had wiped almost all of his Instagram, save for one photo of his father, Dave Roberts.

“interesting response from david boreanaz ! deleting all your insta posts to magnify your silence is a new one ! cool one bro !” one fan called the SEAL Team actor out on Twitter.

While many fans are mad at David for not saying anything, they’re also calling out Alyson Hannigan for her silence as well.

Charisma is still getting a lot of support from her past Buffy and Angel co-stars, and thanking them all for being in her corner.

David Boreanaz Just Revealed If He'd Play Angel Again in a 'Buffy' Reboot

David Boreanaz is opening a bit more about his time as Angel in Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel: the Series.

Speaking with Variety, the 51-year-old actor revealed whether he’d step back into the role as the iconic vampire again, and it was a hard no.

“No,” David stated when asked the question. “I’m all for people redoing it or whatever, but I’m too old.”

He added, “It’s not like we’re the cast of Friends reuniting. We’re not hanging out in the coffee shop on a couch. But, you know, with all that technology, they made Robert De Niro look really young. [Laughs].”

“I would encourage them to find somebody else to do it.”

Just a few days ago, David weighed in on the long debated question of who Buffy Summers truly belonged with in the franchise, after he was alerted to Stacey Abrams comments on the matter.

Here’s what he said about it…

David Boreanaz Disagrees With Stacey Abrams In The 'Buffy' Angel Vs. Spike Debate

David Boreanaz will always be Team Angel in the debate of just who Buffy Summers truly belonged with.

The 51-year-old SEAL Team actor weighed in on the debate brought up again by Stacey Abrams about who Buffy belonged with – Angel or Spike, who was played by James Marsters.

If you didn’t see, Stacey had commented about the television team romance and claimed that both of the vampires were right for Buffy, but just at different times in her life.

Many of the Buffy stars were quick to weigh in on the debate, including Alyson Hannigan, Charisma Carpenter and Nicholas Brendon.

Now, it’s David‘s turn.

“All I’ll say is this, man: True love is first love and first love is true love,” he shared with TheWrap. “Drop the mic. End of story. I don’t think we need to continue. I mean, it’s pretty simple, right?”

David continued, “Let’s think about that for really a second. Your first love is your true love, your true love is your first love. End of story. All due respect Stacey Abrams, I disagree. But you know, hey, you’re coming from the character’s mouth here. I think I’ll be the final word on it.”

Buffy herself, Sarah Michelle Gellar, did react to Stacey‘s original tweet, but not about the love triangle. It was more excitement knowing Stacey was a fan of the series.

Sarah recently revealed that she and her two children, Charlotte and Rocky, were re-watching the series during quarantine.
