Brad Pitt & Joey King's 'Bullet Train' Movie Gets a Release Date

The release date for the highly anticipated movie Bullet Train has been announced!

The star-studded movie is led by Brad Pitt and Joey King and is directed by David Leitch.

The film is based on the Japanese novel “Maria Beetle” and here is the synopsis, via Deadline: “Five assassins find themselves on a fast moving bullet train from Tokyo to Morioka with only a few stops in between. They discover their missions are not unrelated to each other. The question becomes who will make it off the train alive and what awaits them at the terminal station?”

Also starring in the movie are Michael Shannon, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Logan Lerman, Brian Tyree Henry, Andrew Koji, Bad Bunny, Hiroyuki Sanada, and Sandra Bullock.

Jake Gyllenhaal & Jessica Chastain's Upcoming Video Game Movie Gets Update, Two Years Later

Nearly two years after the project was first announced, there’s an update on Jake Gyllenhaal and Jessica Chastain‘s upcoming movie The Division!

The film will be an adaptation of the popular video game and Netflix has the rights to the project after winning a bidding war back in 2019.

Red Notice director Rawson Thurber was just announced as the film’s director after David Leitch had to step down due his busy schedule, which includes his current film Bullet Train.

David will remain on the project as a producer. Rawson will co-write the script with Ellen Shanman.

Deadline reports that the “story is set in the near future with a virus spread via paper money on Black Friday, decimating the city of New York and killing millions. By Christmas, what’s left of society has descended into chaos. A group of civilians, trained to operate in catastrophic times, are activated in an attempt to save who and what remains.”

Charlize Theron Cracked 3 Teeth While Filming 'Atomic Blonde'

Charlize Theron went through some serious stuff while shooting her latest film Atomic Blonde.

The 41-year-old actress revealed that she actually cracked three teeth during filming.

“I’m on my fourth root canal. Thanks, David [Leitch, the director],” Charlize said (via The Wrap) at 2017 CinemaCon held at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Wednesday (March 29) in Las Vegas.

Also in attendance that day was Charlize‘s co-star Sofia Boutella.

Ryan Reynolds Talks About New 'Deadpool 2' Director's Vision

Ryan Reynolds was directed in the first Deadpool movie by Tim Miller, but he departed the sequel due to creative differences and John Wick‘s David Leitch was hired.

“There is not a human being on earth that worked harder on Deadpool than Tim. He’s an incredibly, incredibly talented director,” Ryan said in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly. He was just named the mag’s Entertainer of the Year!

Ryan also opened up about the decision to hire David as the new director and the vision that the filmmaker will bring to the project.

'Deadpool 2' Finds a New Director Following Creative Differences

Deadpool 2 has found a new director after the movie parted ways with its original director last month.

The film has now closed a deal with John Wick director David Leitch, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The flick’s original director Tim Miller reportedly encountered creative differences with star Ryan Reynolds before the amicable split.

Fox is also reportedly working on Deadpool 3 and will be searching for a separate filmmaker for the third installment.

Deadpool was Fox’s biggest hit of the year, bringing in $786 million worldwide after opening on Valentine’s Day this year.

Deadpool 2 is reportedly being released in 2018.
