Blake Lively Jokes Ryan Reynolds 'Didn't Invite' Her to Meet Brad Pitt on 'Deadpool 2' Set

Blake Lively is calling out Ryan Reynolds!

Earlier this week, the Cinephile.Club Instagram account shared a video of Brad Pitt filming his blink and you’ll miss it cameo on set of Deadpool 2.

When she saw the post, the 33-year-old actress took the opportunity to troll Ryan, 44, for not telling her about Brad‘s cameo in his movie.

“Weird… My husband didn’t invite me to set that day,” Blake commented on the post.

As of right now, Ryan hasn’t reacted to Blake‘s comment, which he normally would do in with a sarcastic remark.

Back in 2018, Ryan dished on how he was able to get Brad to make an appearance in Deadpool 2.

Kevin Feige Gives 'Deadpool 3' Update & Says Movie Will Be In The MCU

There’s been a big update about the status of Deadpool 3.

In a recent interview with Collider, Marvel boss Kevin Feige revealed that the third movie in the Deadpool franchise is still going to be happening, but this time around it will be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“It will be rated R and we are working on a script right now, and Ryan’s overseeing a script right now…,” Kevin shared about star Ryan Reynolds‘ involvement.

He added that Deadpool 3 will “not be [filming] this year. Ryan is a very busy, very successful actor. We’ve got a number of things we’ve already announced that we now have to make, but it’s exciting for it to have begun.”

“Again, a very different type of character in the MCU, and Ryan is a force of nature, which is just awesome to see him bring that character to life.”

Sisters Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin and Wendy Molyneux are working on the script and it is expected that the movie will film in 2022.

Creator Rob Leifeld opened up last year about how he didn’t think the movie would actually happen.

Ryan later filmed a funny spoof about the delay of the movie.

'Deadpool' Creator Says Fans Might Not Ever See a 'Deadpool 3'

A Deadpool 3 might not be in the cards…

The creator of the sarcastic superhero Rob Leifeld opened up about the future of the comic book character on the big screen with Collider.

“You know what? There may not be another Deadpool, and I’m fine,” he shared. “Because I have to live with the fact that I had two amazing experiences, two movies I’m extremely proud of, I love knowing everybody on those movies.”

Rob added, “I love Ryan [Reynolds], Josh [Brolin], Zazie [Beetz], David [Leitch], Tim Miller. All of them. The work they did was fantabulous, those movies are here to stand the test of time. You know, but in the world we live in, nothing is guaranteed. And it takes a lot to make movies. And post-quarantine, it’s weird.”

However, Rob did admit that he’d like to see a franchise focused on Cable, played by Josh.

“Cable should have his own movie series. He can exist independent of Deadpool in a heartbeat. He has for years,” he shared. “If Deadpool’s been in like 330 comics, Cable’s been in about 520. Yes, I’ve counted…”

Rob added, “In between ‘Deadpool 2’ wrapping and opening, I got really close with Josh. And he was very excited about exploring Cable in the subsequent sequels. The ‘X-Force’ standalone movie that was, in his own words, Cable-centric.”

Ryan did speak about the future of Deadpool late last year, ahead of the pandemic.

He also updated fans later on about the franchise while under quarantine. See what he said here…

During his appearance, Ryan discussed his hit superhero/antihero series, as well as its future given Walt Disney Studios acquiring Fox in 2019.

Deadpool was Fox, and now it’s in the hands of Marvel over there at Disney,” he explained before debating whether his character would be incorporated into the Marvel world.

“I see infinite possibility in either version: if Deadpool were in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I think it would be explosive and amazing. If Deadpool continued to do his own thing…also infinite possibility.”
