Dev Patel grabs his luggage as he makes his way into LAX airport on Tuesday afternoon (February 7) in Los Angeles.

The 26-year-old Oscar-nominated Lion actor looked cool in a fur-lined coat as he got ready to board his flight out of town.

Dev recently spoke out against President Trump‘s travel pan and why it “terrifies” him in a way.

“It was quite overwhelming, very sad. It’s kind of a strange situation when you’re walking a red carpet and at the same time people are out marching the streets because of so much strife in the air,” he said on CNN‘s New Day. “I’m not an American, so I tread very carefully when I say this, but I’m a product of immigrants. My parents came from Nairobi in Kenya and moved to London… they’ve been nothing but in service of the country they live in and completely proud to be British.”

Oscar nominees including Justin Timberlake, Viola Davis and Naomie Harris all stepped out to celebrate their nominations!

The trio attended The Hollywood Reporter’s Nominee Night on Monday (February 6) at Spago in Beverly Hills, Calif.

They were also joined by fellow nominees Isabelle Huppert, Dev Patel, Faye Dunaway, Sunny Pawar, Glen Powell, Auli’i Cravalho, Annalise Basso and Emmanuelle Chriqui.

During the event, Justin, who is nominated for his song “Can’t Stop the Feeling” from Trolls, spilled on his plans for Oscar night.

“We’ll try to sneak a flask in,” Justin joked.

Oscar nominees Natalie Portman, Viola Davis, and Nicole Kidman stepped out for the 2017 Academy Awards Nominee Luncheon held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Monday (February 6) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Natalie is nominated for Jackie, Viola for Fences, and Nicole for Lion. Also in attendance were nominees Denzel Washington (for Fences), Dev Patel (for Lion), Jeff Bridges (for Hell or High Water) and Mel Gibson (for directing Hacksaw Ridge). Laura Dern was also in attendance to show her support.

Dev Patel is all smiles as he arrives at the 2017 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday (January 29) in Los Angeles.

The 26-year-old actor rocked a navy suit as he attended the awards show, where he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Lion.

Also at the awards show was Glen Powell and Jonah Hill along with Rami Malek who rocked a cool printed tux.

FYI: Rami is wearing a Dior Homme tux, Christian Louboutin shoes, and Panrai watch. Dev is wearing a Brunello Cucinelli suit. Glen is wearing a Dior suit.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban attended two events in one night!

The cute couple first hit the red carpet at the 2017 Producers Guild Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday (January 28) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Also in attendance were her Lion co-star Dev Patel, as well as Sarah Paulson, Colin Firth, Thandie Newton, and Teresa Palmer.

Nicole and Keith later hit up the 2017 G’Day Black Tie Gala at Governors Ballroom At Hollywood and Highland in Hollywood.

Dev Patel and Nicole Kidman embrace as they arrive at a special screening of their film Lion on Monday (January 9) at the ArcLight Cinema in Hollywood.

The co-stars were joined by the film’s director Garth Davis as they discussed the film after the screening.

“I didn’t know it was a true story when I read it and I was very moved,” Nicole said. “Then I found out it was true and I just knew I had to do it. I’m a mother with adopted children, so that obviously really resonated with me.”

Dev also explained what attracted him to his role in the film.

“I was really hungry for the journey,” Dev said. “Garth turned it into a pilgrimage and it made me more of a conscious human being. I got to play a character with a depth, a pain, a soulfulness, and to be able to do this was life changing.”
