'Midnight, Texas' Canceled by NBC After Two Seasons

The television series Midnight, Texas has been canceled by NBC after two seasons.

The series was based on the books by author Charlaine Harris, the same author behind the True Blood books.

The first season aired during summer 2017 and earned the distinction of being the highest rated drama series of the summer. The second season debuted in October and the season two finale, airing next Friday, will be the series finale.

Francois Arnaud, Dylan Bruce, Parisa Fitz-Henley, Arielle Kebbel, Jason Lewis, Peter Mensah, and Nestor Carbonell starred in the series.

The actors, who star on The Gifted and Midnight, Texas respectively, were joined on the panel by NightflyersEoin Macken, Doctor Strange‘s Benedict Wong, Magnum PI‘s Jay Hernandez, Lucifer‘s Tom Ellis, and Salvation‘s Santiago Cabrera.

'Midnight, Texas' Cast Celebrates a Birthday at Comic-Con!

The actors were joined by co-stars Arielle Kebbel, Parisa Fitz-Henley, Yul Vazquez, Peter Mensah, and Jason Lewis, as well as “Midnight, Texas” author Charlaine Harris.

Parisa celebrated her birthday that day and she was surprised with a cake on stage at the panel.

Midnight, Texas, which premieres on NBC on Monday night (July 24), is from the same author as the True Blood books!

'Midnight, Texas' Trailer From 'True Blood' Author Debuts - Watch Now!

The first trailer for Midnight, Texas, the new NBC series adapted from the best-selling book trilogy by True Blood‘s Charlaine Harris, has just debuted!

The show is about a town of outsiders who must fight the ultimate battle against evil to protect their home. The series stars Jason Lewis, Parisa Fitz-Henley, Dylan Bruce, Arielle Kebbel, Yul Vazquez, David Janollari, Francois Arnaud, Sarah Ramos, and Peter Mensah – who all promoted the show at the NBC Universal Summer Press Day at the Beverly Hilton on Monday (March 20) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Here’s a synopsis of the show: Welcome to a place where being normal is really quite strange. Journey into a remote Texas town where no one is who they seem. From vampires and witches to psychics and hit men, Midnight is a mysterious safe haven for those who are different. As the town members fight off outside pressures from rowdy biker gangs, ever-suspicious cops and their own dangerous pasts, they band together and form a strong and unlikely family.

The show premieres on Tuesday, July 25 on NBC. See the show in time!

Jaimie Alexander, Tatiana Maslany, and Abigail Spencer hit the red carpet at Entertainment Weekly’s Comic-Con Bash held at Float, Hard Rock Hotel on Saturday night (July 23) in San Diego, Calif.

Also in attendance event, held during 2016 Comic-Con, were Tatiana‘s former Orphan Black co-star Dylan Bruce, Maggie Q, and Nathalie Emmanuel with her Game of Thrones co-stars Liam Cunningham, Isaac Hempstead Wright, and Conleth Hill.

Earlier in the day, Tatiana was seen giving an interview on the IMDb yacht.

Tatiana was recently nominated for an Emmy Award for the second year in a row for her work on the hit BBC America series!

'Heroes Reborn' Comic-Con 2015 Trailer Debuts - Watch Now!

The cast of Heroes Reborn hit up 2015 Comic-Con for their panel at the Hilton Bayfront on Sunday (July 12) in San Diego, Calif.

Cast members Ryan Guzman, Greg Grunberg, Masi Oka, Zachary Levi, Henry Zebrowski, Robbie Kay, Danika Yarosh, Dylan Bruce, Rya Kihlstedt, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Jack Coleman, Gatlin Green and Judi Shekoni showed up to promote the new NBC show and to debut a full length trailer!

Sam Heughan and Reeve Carney both opt for no tie as they attend the Entertainment Weekly Party held during 2015 San Diego Comic-Con at FLOAT at The Hard Rock Hotel on Saturday (July 11) in San Diego, Calif.

The guys were joined by True Blood‘s Robert Kazinsky, Orphan Black‘s Dylan Bruce, Jordan Gavaris, and Ari Millen, and Miranda actor Tom Ellis.
