Catherine Zeta-Jones wouldn’t be surprised if her children, Carys and Dylan Douglas, went into the family business.

During her interview on Today, the 51-year-old actress opened up about the two, who she shares with husband Michael Douglas, possibly going into acting in the future.

“The journey I’ve had as an actor has been extraordinary, so I can only encourage them to do what they love. They’re both extremely bright and they’re both studying history and politics. And they get all their brains from me.”

Catherine added, “But that said, Michael and I would be the first parents to say, ‘You know, maybe you should think of another career,’ but we’ve seen how passionate they are about the craft. They know what celebritydom is. They know the good, the bad, warts and all of that.”

Michael Douglas is opening up about his family!

The 75-year-old actor made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday (October 10).

During his appearance, Michael spoke of his 102-year-old father Kirk Douglas, and shared his thoughts about getting older. He also spoke about his daredevil 19-year-old son, Dylan.

Catherine Zeta-Jones is revealing quite the surprise she discovered after opening Instagram the other day.

Her 19-year-old son with husband Michael Douglas, Dylan, posted a video of himself skydiving on Sunday (August 25).

“Don’t tell mom…” he captioned the post.

“Mom just found out😩😩😩😩,” Catherine hilariously commented on the post.

Michael also shared the post on his social media: “No I wasn’t the Cameraman! @dylan__douglas,” he amusingly wrote.

Catherine Zeta-Jones is joined by the best dates at the 2019 Wales’ National Day Gala – her kids Dylan and Carys!

The 49-year-old actress wowed in a burgundy, velvet dress as she was joined on the red carpet by her 18-year-old son and 15-year-old daughter as they arrived at the event held on Friday night (March 1) at the Rainbow Room in New York.

Also in attendance at the event was The Americans star Matthew Rhys along with former Scandal actress Kate Burton and her daughter Charlotte.

During the event held in celebrating Welsh actors and actresses, Catherine was presented with a honorary degree from The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama.

Lots of lucky celebs got to check out Rogue One: A Star Wars Story at the world premiere tonight and they’ve got a lot to say about the film!

Attendees including Michael Douglas, his children Dylan and Carys, Jaime King, Kyle Newman, Chris Hardwick and Lydia Hearst all stepped out for the premiere at the Pantages Theater on Saturday night (December 10) in Hollywood.

Other invited guests included Constance Zimmer, her husband Russ Lamoureux and their daughter Colette, Kevin Smith and his daughter Harley Quinn, Dane Cook, Bill Nye, Mario Lopez, Pete Wentz, Georgie Flores and Rachael Leigh Cook.

Celebs who got to see the flick have been giving it rave reviews, with Dane saying it might even be the best one yet!

“I just saw Rogue One. I’m gonna say it.. this might be the BEST Star Wars movie!! I can’t wait to see this again and again. #epic #farfaraway #vaderchokedme,” he wrote on Twitter.

FYI: Jaime is wearing a Schiaparelli Couture dress and Jimmy Choo shoes. Rachael is wearing a Mestiza New York jumpsuit.

Kirk Douglas turned 100 on Friday (December 9) and he celebrated the occasion at a big birthday bash with his famous family in attendance!

The legendary actor posed for a portrait with his wife Anne Buydens, son Michael Douglas, daughter-in-law Catherine Zeta-Jones, and grandchildren Dylan, 16, and Carys, 13. The party was held at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Steven Spielberg was at the event and gave a speech.

“I’ve been shooting movies and television shows for now 47 years and I’ve worked with the best of them and you’re the only movie star I ever met,” Steven said. “There is something that you have that no one else ever had.”

The longtime couple were joined by their two children, 13-year-old Carys and 16-year-old Dylan, as they enjoyed music from artists like Bob Dylan and The Rolling Stones.

“So excited. Tickets ready. A Friday night with Bob Dylan and The Rolling Stones!!! Can’t breathe with excitement!!! A #DesertTrip of a lifetime!” Catherine wrote on her Instagram before the festival started.

She later shared a photo of Dylan wearing a Rolling Stones shirt, writing, “This says it all. Watching my son see his idols for the first time. Made this night for me. #TheRollingStones.”
