The CW had given new season orders to ALL of it’s current shows.

Batwoman and Nancy Drew have gotten their second season orders, along with veterans The Flash, Riverdale, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Black Lightning and Supergirl.

All American, Charmed, Dynasty, In the Dark, Legacies and Roswell, New Mexico were also picked up for additional seasons on the network.

The only show left out was Katy Keene, a spinoff of Riverdale.

However, the show starring Lucy Hale, was given 13 additional scripts for it’s freshman season.

Elaine Hendrix will be playing the role of Alexis Carrington on the third season of The CW’s Dynasty!

The actress, who is beloved for her role as Meredith Blake in the remake of The Parent Trap, also has starred in shows like Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll and Anger Management.

Nicollette Sheridan originated the role of Alexis on the reboot of Dynasty and she left abruptly midway through season one. Elizabeth Gillies, who also plays Fallon on the series, temporarily took over as Alexis thanks to a plastic surgery plot-line.

“Alexis is back in Atlanta, with a new look, a new man, and plenty of scores to settle,” The CW said in a statement about Elaine‘s casting, according to TVLine.

The CW just revealed that ten primetime shows are getting renewed for the 2019-2020 season!

The network made the exciting announcement on Thursday (January 31) during the 2019 Winter TCA Tour.

The CW’s strategy to expand its primetime schedule to six nights a week including Sunday has been “an unqualified success” said president Mark Pedowitz.

“The early renewal of these signature CW series gives us a head start on laying out the 2019-2020 season, and this is just the beginning. These shows provide a strong foundation for our multiplatform programming strategy, and we look forward to building on this with even more returning and new shows as we approach the May upfront.”

The classic series is getting a reboot on The CW this fall and another poster was released featuring cast members Sam Adegoke, James Mackay, and Rafael de la Fuente.

The tagline, “Vicious. Ambitious. Delicious,” is on both of the posters.

Dynasty is set to premiere on October 11 at 9/8c. Here is a synopsis: “Fallon Carrington is charismatic, cunning, and poised to become the new COO of her father’s global energy empire – or so she thinks. When her father, Blake Carrington, summons Fallon and her brother, Steven, home in Atlanta, Fallon is horrified to learn that the reunion isn’t to announce her promotion – but rather to make the acquaintance of their stepmother-to-be, Cristal. Family dynasties flow through blood, and Fallon would sooner draw blood than call Cristal ‘Mom.’”
