Not a lot of plot details are being revealed about the upcoming flick, except for a few details.

Edward Norton is putting President Donald Trump on blast.

The 51-year-old Fight Club star spoke out against the President of the United States, who continues to refuse to concede to Joe Biden and try to baselessly undermine the results of the 2020 presidential election, in a series of tweets on Friday (November 20).

“I’m no political pundit but I grew up w a dad who was a federal prosecutor & he taught me a lot & I’ve also sat a fair amount of poker w serious players & l’ll say this: I do not think Trump is trying to ‘make his base happy’ or ‘laying the groundwork for his own network’,” he wrote.

“…or that ‘chaos is what he loves’. The core of it is that he knows he’s in deep, multi-dimensional legal jeopardy & this defines his every action. We’re seeing 1) a tactical delay of the transition to buy time for coverup & evidence suppression 2) above all, a desperate endgame,” he continued.

“which is to create enough chaos & anxiety about peaceful transfer of power, & fear of irreparable damage to the system, that he can cut a Nixon-style deal in exchange for finally conceding. But he doesn’t have the cards. His bluff after ‘the flop’ has been called in court…his ‘turn card’ bluff will be an escalation & his ‘River card’ bluff could be really ugly. But they have to be called. We cannot let this mobster bully the USA into a deal to save his ass by threatening our democracy. THAT is his play. But he’s got junk in his hand. So call him.”

If you missed it, Trump‘s top lawyer Rudy Giuliani made headlines for his bizarre appearance during a press conference full of allegations that was not aired by most news stations.

Edward Norton is shooting down Janeane Garofalo‘s claims that he was the reason she lost out on a role in Fight Club.

Janeane was up for the role of Maria Singer, and shared with Build Series that she “met with [the film’s director] David Fincher, who handed me the script and said, ‘If you like it, the part is yours.’”

She added that she was shot down and “was told that he would like Courtney Love to do it, because he was dating her, but Brad Pitt said, ‘I’m not going to sign off on that.’ So, they agreed on Helena Bonham Carter, who was probably much better than I would have been.”

Edward fired back at the claims and told CNN that he was “sorry Janeane is under that impression, but if she was serious, she’s really mistaken.”

“David Fincher does exactly what he wants. He makes the call on every dimension of his films, top to bottom. I don’t recall him ever even raising the subject of who he was considering for most other roles.”

“The one suggestion I made, he shot down. I was a big fan of Janeane’s so I’d have loved to do a reading with her,” he adds.

Edward still remembers getting booed at the Fight Club premiere.

Edward Norton is confirming that he did save Leonardo DiCaprio from drowning off the coast of the Galapagos Islands while scuba diving together.

“We were in the Galapagos Islands. We were scuba diving with Sylvia Earle, the great oceanographer,” Edward said while making an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show. “I’ve known Leo a long time and he loses his mind around animals. He really has a childlike passion for them.”

“This flight of 100 spotted eagle rays went by below us and I saw the look on his face,” he continued. “I saw him charging off with this camera that he had and I have been diving since I was 16 years old. I reflectively looked at my watch and was like: ‘We’re very close to the end.’”

“I saw him going off and down and I knew that wasn’t a good thing so I followed him because I thought to myself, he’s chasing these things, he’s going to run out of air – and he did,” Edward continued.

The pair were in the Galapagos together to film the 2016 documentary Before the Flood.

It’s not often we see Leonardo DiCaprio photographed with animals, but since Edward said he has a “childlike passion” for them, we dug up this must-see pic!

Edward Norton is dapper in a suit while hitting the red carpet at the premiere of his film Motherless Brooklyn held at UGC Cine Cite Les Halles on Sunday (November 17) in Paris, France.

The 50-year-old actor was accompanied at the premiere by his wife Shauna Robertson.

Motherless Brooklyn has been Edward‘s passion project for the past two decades and he not only stars in it, he also wrote, directed, and produced the movie – check out the trailer!

“I think the schizophrenia that’s more challenging is the impact on other actors,” Edward told Variety about acting and directing. “We kind of use each other to keep up this pup tent of pretend. And if one of us is breaking out of it and then coming back in and being the analytical force, you mess with the little bit of weird magic that actors try to sustain for each other. But honestly the hedge against it is just really great actors that you have a shorthand with. Gugu Mbatha-Raw (love interest Laura Rose) was the only person in the cast sort of new to me. All the way down the cast, these are people I’ve known for years and years. I couldn’t really have what I would call preciousness.”
