Matt Damon suits up while attending a press conference for his latest film Elysium on Wednesday (August 14) in Seoul, South Korea.

The 42-year-old actor was joined by his co-star Sharlto Copley to promote the flick, which hits theaters on Thursday (August 15) in the country.

Earlier in the week, Matt and Sharlto were dapper while attending the premiere of the flick in Sydney, Australia.

“He broke up with me,” Matt recently shared about his relationship with President Obama. “There are a lot of things that I really question, you know: the legality of the drone strikes, and these NSA revelations they’re, you know, it’s like, they’re, you know, Jimmy Carter came out and said we don’t live in a democracy. That’s, that’s a little, that’s a little intense when an ex-president says that. So, you know, he’s got some, some explaining to do, particularly for a constitutional law professor.” Watch the video after the cut!

Matt Damon suits up while hitting the carpet at the premiere of his new film Elysium held at Event Cinemas George Street on Monday (August 12) in Sydney, Australia.

The 42-year-old actor was joined at the event by his co-star Sharlto Copley, who was joined by girlfriend Tanit Phoenix.

Elysium premiered in North America over the weekend and it was the number one film with over $30 million grossed.

Matt Damon and Jodie Foster‘s sci-fi flick Elysium has topped this weekend’s box office with $30.4 million earned, THR reports.

Elysium was one of four new films out this weekend vying for the top spot.

Coming in at number two was Jennifer Aniston‘s new film We’re the Millers, which grossed $26.5 million.

In third place was another new film, the animated picture Planes, which grossed $22.5 million.

Rounding out the top five was the last new film Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, which made $14.6 million, and returning movie 2 Guns, which brought in $11.1 million.

Matt Damon heads into LAX Airport to catch a departing flight out of town on Friday evening (August 9) in Los Angeles.

The 42-year-old actor’s new film Elysium was released in theaters this weekend and it topped the Friday box office with an estimated $11.2 million, according to THR.

Elysium is set to take the number one spot for the full weekend with a predicted $30 million, beating out other new flicks like We’re The Millers, Planes, and Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters.

Sharlto Copley and a guest walk the red carpet at the premiere of his new film Elysium on Wednesday (August 9) at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, Calif.

The 39-year-old actor was joined at the event by his co-stars Alice Braga, Diego Luna, William Fichtner, Faran Tahir, Josh Blacker, and director Neill Blomkamp.

The film’s leads Matt Damon and Jodie Foster also stepped out for the star-studded premiere. Make sure to check out the movie in theaters this weekend!

The 26-year-old actor was joined at the event by Stana Katic, Aimee Garcia, Derek Theler, Constance Zimmer, Vivica A. Fox, and Emily Osment, who all came out to show their support.
