News broke on Friday (March 12) that Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have split after four years together and she shared something on her social media pages just hours before we found out.

The 51-year-old actress and singer took to her Instagram Stories that day to share a screencap from a FaceTime call with ex-husband Marc Anthony and 13-year-old daughter Emme.

In the photo, Emme appears to be crying and getting consoled by her dad, Marc, who reposted the photo onto his Instagram Stories.

“When they are sad but momma and daddy are there #Coconuts,” Jennifer captioned the photo. “I Love You!! So Proud of You…”

Jennifer and Marc are also the parents to 13-year-old son Max, who is the twin brother of Emme. The couple got divorced in April 2012 after seven years of marriage and they share joint custody of the twins.

Jennifer Lopez‘s twins, Max and Emme Muniz, are officially teenagers!

The 51-year-old actress and singer wrote a birthday tribute to her kids on social media, while also sharing a video of serving them breakfast in bed.

“My beautiful babies are teenagers today!! OMG!! I can’t believe it’s been 13 years since I carried them both home in my arms in the middle of a snowstorm,” Jennifer reminisced. “Out of that blizzard came two perfect lil’ coconuts who rearranged my life and taught me the true meaning of love…”

Jennifer continued, “It has been the most magical journey full of adventure and joy ever since… I’m feeling so many emotions this morning…so very emotional today… so proud and happy and heartbroken that I can’t freeze time. To my two caring, sensitive and special souls…”

Currently, Emme and Max live with Jennifer and her fiance, Alex Rodriguez and his two daughters, Ella and Natasha.

Max Muniz, Jennifer Lopez‘s son, just got a brand new puppy!

The 50-year-old Hustlers star and singer shared the big news that they expanded their clan with an adorable new golden doodle over the weekend.

“Welcome to the fam, @tbdpupofficial!” Jennifer announced with a cute video of the pup giving Max a ton of puppy kisses.

She went on, asking for name recommendations: “We got Max this adorable lil golden doodle and we haven’t named him yet! ✨What should we name this cutie!? Tyson or Yankee? All will be revealed soon! 🐶”

The pup even has its own Instagram account too – you can follow his adventures on TBDPupOfficial.

“Me and my dad Max. We’re already the best of buddies! 🐶,” one pic with Max reads in the caption.

Jennifer Lopez and Mark Anthony‘s 12-year-old daughter Emme is publishing a picture book!

The book is titled “Lord Help Me” and will take “readers through ordinary moments when Emme asks God for help — some small like waking up for school or getting along with a sibling and others big, like helping to save the planet and all its creatures.”

“In school I learned about sloths and how they’re facing extinction so I began to pray for them in my nightly prayers,” Emme said in a statement. “I wrote this book to help raise money to save sloths while also teaching other children how we can pray and ask for help, two things that bring me a lot of comfort.”

Emme is incredibly talented and has been slowly taking some time in the spotlight – including on one of the world’s biggest stages!
