Haim Premiere 'I Know Alone' Video in New Socially Distanced World

Haim just released the video for their new song “I Know Alone” from their forthcoming album Women In Music Pt. III, out June 26th.

While the song was originally inspired by the band’s feelings of loneliness after coming home from tour, Alana Haim, Danielle Haim and Este Haim say that “I Know Alone” now takes on a whole new meaning in today’s world as so many of us stay home and practice social distancing.

’I Know Alone’ was always going to be the next song we released, but it feels eerily appropriate given what’s going on in the world right now,” Haim says about the new single. “We hope this song keeps you company.”

The video was directed remotely by Jake Schreier and remotely co-choreographed with Francis Farewell Starlite.

Haim is also set to perform on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert tonight! And in case you missed it, watch Haim‘s “The Steps” music video!

HAIM Postpone Their New Album 'Women in Music Pt. III' Release!

HAIM have postponed the release of their upcoming Women in Music Pt. III album.

The band – sisters Este Haim, Danielle Haim, and Alana Haim – issued a statement on their social media channels stating that the new release will be bumped to this summer due to the ongoing global health crisis.

“Hi everyone. We hope you guys are all staying safe and staying home. We’re on day 11 of quarantine which has given us a lot of time to think. We’ve been talking everyday for hours about our upcoming album and how we went to present it to you guys. Due to everything that is going on and the changing nature of travel policies and quarantines across the world, we’ve decided to postpone the release of Women in Music Pt. III to later this summer. This wasn’t an easy decision for us at all,” Haim said in their statement. “We had so many amazing things planned — trips to Europe and Australia as well as a tour where we would all dance and sing together. But the health and safety of our fans, crew and team is our #1 concern.”

HAIM were due to release Women in Music Pt. III on April 24. However, they confirmed to fans that they would be “dropping some new tunes” in the meantime – Read the full statement below!
