Eve Hewson Reveals The Famous Singer She Prank Called After Stealing Dad Bono's Address Book

Eve Hewson is opening up about the time that she tried to prank call Justin Timberlake, but it went in a different direction than she was expecting.

The 29-year-old actress and daughter of Bono was a guest on ITV’s This Morning and recalled the time that she stole her rocker dad’s address book and prank called a few celebrities.

“I like to take advantage of my circumstances sometimes,” she shared on the program. “When I was younger, I stole my dad’s address book. We tried to prank call a few people.”

Eve reveals that once she got to Justin‘s number, she didn’t hang up at all, but instead, “we asked him trivia questions from the back of the cereal box.”

“It was one of the best moments of my life,” she added.

Eve currently stars on Starz’ The Luminaries, which is an “intricately woven, suspenseful tale of love, murder, magic and revenge set in New Zealand at the height of the 1860s gold rush, based on the Man Booker prize-winning novel.”

Eve Hewson Opens Up About Feminism & How the #MeToo Movement Impacts Her Life

Eve Hewson is on the cover of Story + Rain, out now.

Here’s what the 27-year-old Robin Hood actress had to say…

On feminism: “Some people just don’t like that word for whatever reason. I’m not afraid of it at all…equality. That’s how I see it anyway. That’s why I think if you are a nonfeminist, you are an a–hole because you don’t believe in equality for women.”

On landing her role in Robin Hood: “I had like a tripod that I put on top of my trashcan in my kitchen and I stood where the good lighting was and did a scene that didn’t make it into the movie.”

On how the #MeToo movement has impacted her: “I haven’t had anything really bad, but when all that stuff came out, it did make me look at situations at the time I had sort of brushed off. I’m over it and now I feel like I not only have the power to speak up but I need to speak up. I’ve been on set where crew members say things to you, whisper in your ear, follow you around. I had to do a sex scene once outside in a car and like the policeman was there to help us film. He had to be there. He kept like walking into the shot and looking up my skirt. And after a while I got out of the car and went up to him and said, I know what you’re doing, I see what you’re doing!”
