So many K-Pop superstars also happen to be social media sensations – and the top accounts have millions and millions of followers!

From solo superstars to girl group and boy band members, plenty of South Korean stars have become huge on Instagram. And based on the latest roundup of idol follower counts, we know who the most popular stars are on the social media platform!

Here’s one hint: the top four most-followed individual accounts are all in the same group! That same act just broke some Guinness World Records as well.

Lay Zhang Drops Summer Anthem 'Boom' - Listen & Read the Lyrics!

Lay Zhang is back with even more beats!

The 28-year-old Chinese singer and EXO member released his summer anthem, “Boom,” on Wednesday (July 8).

The song follows the release of Part 1 of his solo album, LIT, which was released last month. “Boom” is the first taste of the upcoming second and final part o the 12-track album, which is set to include production by Scott Storch and is set to feature “a groundbreaking blend of hip-hop and Mandopop.”

He previously worked with Murda Beatz on the first part of the album. The entire 12-track album is co-written by Lay as well.

EXO's Sehun Reveals Why He Was Very Nervous to Shake Hands With President Donald Trump

EXO‘s Sehun was nervous to meet President Donald Trump – for a very sensitive reason!

The 25-year-old boy band member opened up about the experience on MBC’s latest episode of Radio Star.

Trump met EXO alongside South Korean President Moon Jae-in during a dinner at the presidential Blue House amid ongoing diplomatic activities surrounding North Korea’s denuclearization on June 29 Seoul, South Korea.

Sehun then spoke about shaking hands with Trump.

“At the time, my little finger was fractured. I wore a guard on it. I needed to shake his hand,” he explained on the show, adding that his band members told him that Trump is known for a firm handshake.

“From that point on, I worried about what I could do and I was in a cold sweat.”

He even prepared to say in English: “My finger is broken.”

However, he explained on the show that he was able to position his little finger in a way that it didn’t touch during the handshake, so he didn’t get hurt after all.

Ryan Reynolds Meets K-Pop's EXO at '6 Underground' Premiere!

Ryan Reynolds meets up with members of the K-pop superstar band EXO at the world premiere of his new Netflix movie 6 Underground at Dongdaemun Design Plaza on Monday (December 2) in Seoul, South Korea.

Also in attendance at the premiere, and the press conference earlier in the day, were Ryan’s co-stars Adria Arjona and Melanie Laurent, along with director Michael Bay.

6 Underground is set to be released on December 13 on the streaming service. Ryan was asked by Empire to describe the film, and he said, “This is certainly an old-school Michael Bay spectacle film – it’s just action upon action upon more action.”

FYI: Ryan is wearing Ralph Lauren Purple Label at the premiere. Melanie is wearing Dolce&Gabbana.

EXO Member D.O. Will Enlist in the Military in July

EXO‘s Do Kyung-Soo, better known as D.O., is enlisting in the military.

The 26-year-old South Korean boy band member will be enlisting as an active duty soldier on July 1, according to Korean news outlets on Thursday (May 30).

While he still has time before required enlistment in the military, and can defer enlistment five times by 2021 when he is 28 years old, he is choosing to complete his duties as soon as possible.

His EXO bandmate, Xiumin, enlisted on May 7.

EXO’s D.O. is enlisting in July. D.O. applied to serve in the military and received the notice for his July 1 enlistment date today, and is planning to faithfully serve as an active duty soldier. With Xiumin’s enlistment on May 7 and with the process of military enlistments now starting for EXO, D.O. expressed his will to fulfill his military duties as soon as possible and applied after fully discussing it with the agency and his members. He hopes to enlist quietly, so we will respect his wishes and not reveal the time and location of his enlistment as well as hold any separate events on the day [of his enlistment],” the statement from his agency reads.
