Anthony Mackie‘s Marvel Cinematic Universe character Sam Wilson has never had a physical superpower, but the actor just revealed the superpower he has now that he’s Captain America.

Sam became Captain America in the season finale of the Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and it took him some time to accept the shield.

In a recent interview, Anthony talked about the powerful speech that Sam gave in the finale, in which he assumed the identity of Captain America.

Anthony Mackie is currently a trending topic on Twitter because of all the backlash he’s receiving for comments that he made about The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

In a new interview, the 42-year-old actor was asked about the friendship between his character Sam Wilson and Sebastian Stan‘s character Bucky Barnes. He also commented on how some fans interpreted the show to have a budding romance between the superheros.

If you missed the last episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Anthony‘s character Sam Wilson made his debut as Captain America, adding elements of his Falcon suit to the new Cap suit.

After the last episode of the Disney+ series debuted, another Captain America movie was announced! It’s unclear if Chris Evans would return, but it could mean that Anthony will be starring in the film!

The entire series is available to stream on Disney+ and you should definitely check it out right now. Sebastian Stan also stars.

A fourth Captain America movie is in the works and it is being developed by the creator of Marvel’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier television series!

THR reports that showrunner Malcolm Spellman is currently working on a script for the upcoming movie, which he is writing alongside Falcon and the Winter Soldier staff writer Dalan Musson.

One of the biggest mysteries on the Disney+ and Marvel series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was the identity of the Power Broker.

This person has only been someone mentioned briefly throughout the previous five episodes and we never learned too much information. We know that the Power Broker runs the criminal sanctuary city-island Madripoor and this person hired a former Hydra scientist to recreate the Super Soldier Serum. The Flag Smashers, led by Karli Morgenthou (Erin Kellyman), stole the remaining serum samples and the Power Broker has been after them ever since.

We finally learned the identity of the Power Broker in the final episode of the season and the end credits scene focused on this character as well, laying some future plans for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
