Fantasia Barrino and Kendall Taylor have welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Keziah!

The American Idol alum announced the exciting news on social media Sunday (May 23).

“The Elephant is the animal I chose to surround @keziahlondontaylor with because it represents patience, strength, power and remembrance,” she captioned pic of her posing with an elephant for her maternity photoshoot. “Just a few of the qualities that her presence has brought into our lives and this world. We were patient waiting on you to enter this world and we will always remember the strength that it took for me and @salute1st to create something as powerful as your life itself.”

“Happy Birthday to our little Angel 5-23-21 and may God keep and cover you for the rest of your days!” Fantasia added.

The singer is also a mom to Dallas Xavier, 9, and Zion Quari, 19, and her husband Kendall Taylor is also dad to son Treyshaun.

Fantasia Barrino is having another baby!

The 36-year-old American Idol winner announced on Tuesday (November 24) on her Instagram Live that she and husband Kendall Taylor are expecting their first child together.

Fantasia broke the news by first opening up about her fertility struggles, revealing that she turned to prayer to help conceive.

“Keep trying and you will conceive,” Fantasia said, before standing up to reveal her baby bump.

Kendall then gave his wife a kiss on her belly, saying, “Listen to me, a little Taylor baby on the way in these streets.”

This will be the first child for the couple, who married in July 2015. Fantasia has two kids from relationships — son Dallas, 8, and daughter Zion, 19 — and Kendall is dad to a son named Treyshaun.

The 40-year-old actress was joined at the event by Shaun Ross, Fantasia Barrino, Cipriana Quann, Empire‘s Jeremy L. Carver and rapper Young Paris as they all showed their support.

Rosario Dawson was also joined by her collaborator Abrima Erwiah at the Studio 189 presentation – the brand is made in Africa and produces African and African-inspired pieces.

That same day, Rosario made sure to support the S by Serena Williams fashion show.

Yolanda Adams, Fantasia Barrino, and Andra Day team up to honor Aretha Franklin at the 2019 Grammy Awards!

The 57-year-old gospel singer, the 34-year-old “Lose to Win” crooner, and the 34-year-old “Stand Up for Something” singer took the stage at the event held on Sunday (February 10) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The trio performed the late Queen of Soul’s “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman,” receiving a standing ovation.

Aretha passed away last August at age 76 after a battle with cancer.

The 34-year-old Side Effects of You singer and the 38-year-old “Foolish” singer hit the red carpet at the 2019 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 10) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Fantasia‘s husband, Kendall Taylor, accompanied her on the red carpet.

She will be performing alongside Andra Day and Yolanda Adams in a tribute to the late Aretha Franklin.

The show will be hosted this year by 15-time Grammy winner Alicia Keys. Make sure to tune in at 8pm ET/5pm PT on CBS!

Fantasia Barrino just gave a powerful performance during Aretha Franklin‘s funeral.

The 34-year-old singer took to the stage during the funeral service on Friday (August 31) held at Greater Grace Temple in Detroit, Michigan.

Fantasia honored Aretha with a performance of her songs “Precious Lord” and “You’ve Got a Friend” and even kicked her shoes off before singing!

“Rest Well My Queen and know that we will never forget you #ArethaFranklin #Queen #SoulSinger #Love #Respect @andreas_dsigns Thank You for helping me bring my vision together,” Fantasia wrote on her Instagram.

Fantasia Barrino is currently recovering after suffering second-degree burns and she had to cancel a concert due to the injury.

The 32-year-old former American Idol winner was scheduled to perform in Memphis, Tenn. on Sunday night (March 5) and she hopes to make it up to her fans in the city.

“Fantasia suffered a minor accident yesterday afternoon and is resting comfortably,” her rep told People in a statement. “At this moment, our plan is to resume the tour in Los Angeles on Wednesday at the Microsoft Theater. She thanks all of her fans for their kind messages of love and support, and is looking forward to getting back out on the road.”

TMZ reports that the accident happened when a vaporizer next to Fantasia‘s bed on her tour bus fell over while she was sleeping and spilled hot water on her right forearm.

“My wife experienced an accident today causing 2nd degree burns on her arm,” Fantasia‘s husband Kendall Taylor wrote on Instagram. “She’s steady asking the Doc ‘Can I perform tonight?’ But we must be wise and realize this isn’t a race, but rather a marathon.”
