'Stranger Things' Cast Open Up About Filming Season 3 Inside a Working Mall

The cast of Stranger Things sit down for an interview on Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Friday night (June 14) in New York City.

The young cast – Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, Millie Bobby Brown, Noah Schnapp, and Gaten Matarazzo – sat down with Jimmy to chat about the upcoming third season of their hit show.

While on the show, the cast talked about filming inside of an active mall, and how they would go down the escalators like a slide. They even dished about a song that Caleb made up.

“It’s a song that I made to annoy Gaten and Sadie,” Caleb dished about the “Chicken Noodle Soup” song.

The cast then all chimed in about it getting stuck in people’s heads, and they even taught Jimmy the tune.

Sadie Sink, Gaten Matarazzo & Finn Wolfhard Promote 'Stranger Things' in the Big Apple

Sadie Sink keeps it cool with her casual look while leaving her hotel in New York City on Friday morning (June 14).

The 17-year-old actress met up with Finn Wolfhard and Gaten Matarazzo while they promoted the third season of their Netflix series, Stranger Things.

During a recent set visit, production designer Chris Trujillo revealed that the final scene is a huge thing to look forward to.

“That’s being kept a little more under wraps but suffice it to say, it’s the sci-fi element that I’ve been talking about. It’s pretty incredible,” he shared.

Stranger Things season three premieres on July 4th.

Millie Bobby Brown & Noah Schnapp Tease New Tidbits About 'Stranger Things' Season 3

Millie Bobby Brown meets up with her Stranger Things for a few interviews on Wednesday (June 12) in New York City.

The 15-year-old actress was seen waving to fans while her co-stars Sadie Sink, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Finn Wolfhard, and Noah Schnapp all arrived together.

During a recent interview with Pilot TV, Finn and Noah teased some new tidbits about the new season.

“The first season was more about the adventure aspect and kind of fun, the second season was more about the horror aspect,” Finn shared. “Season three is everything, like the fun of season one and the horror of season two and the Duffers have got better at it, at writing it. And we’ve become better actors.”

Noah also spilled that his character, Will Byers “still has the presence of the monster left, and you kind of see what happens there.”

“People have asked, ‘Does Will get a break this season?’ and I’m like, ‘Yeah, sure, for the first two episodes. And then no one really gets a break,” he added.

Stranger Things season 3 premieres on July 4th on Netflix.

A slew of new character posters for Stranger Things‘ season three were just released!

Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matazarro, Sadie Sink, Charlie Heaton, Noah Schnapp, Natalia Dyer, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, and Dacre Montgomery all stand in front of a blast of fireworks at the carnival.

Millie, speaking with ET over the weekend, teased that Eleven is about to go through some major changes with her personality.

“Eleven’s character evolves greatly,” she shared. “And I can say its spreading fast. And that’s all I can tell you.”

Ansel Elgort Has a Message for 'Goldfinch' Fans at CinemaCon

Ansel Elgort appears on stage with his young co-star Oakes Fegley while attending a panel during 2019 CinemaCon on Tuesday (April 2) at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

The 25-year-old actor was also joined by co-stars Aneurin Barnard and Finn Wolfhard while promoting their upcoming movie The Goldfinch, which opens in theaters on September 12.

The movie is based on Donna Tartt‘s 2014 Pulitzer Prize-winning novel of the same name.

“I hope that people find a piece of themselves in the story, and I hope that whatever drew all those people to that book will also draw them to this movie,” Ansel said in a message to fans (via IndieWire). “I think they will be drawn to this movie, because they did a pretty great job capturing that tone and telling this epic story.”

Also in attendance were James McAvoy who plays Bill Denbrough, Finn Wolfhard and Bill Hader (Richie Tozier), Jack Dylan Grazer and James Ransone (Eddie Kaspbrak), Chosen Jacobs and Isaiah Mustafa (Mike Hanlon), Jeremy Ray Taylor and Jay Ryan (Ben Hanscom), and Wyatt Oleff and Andy Bean (Stanley Uris).

Jaeden Martell couldn’t make it to the event and his older counterpart James joked, “He’s too talented and he threatens me, so I made him disappear.”

People on Twitter are describing the footage shown at the panel as being “scary as hell,” “effectively creepy, very bloody,” and being filled with plenty of red balloons.

It: Chapter Two, directed by Andy Muschietti, will hit theaters on September 6.
