Ben Platt has released his new single “Happy to Be Sad” and he also just announced that his second studio album is on the way!
The 27-year-old Grammy, Emmy, and Tony-winning performer will be releasing the album Reverie on August 13 via Atlantic Records.
“Happy to Be Sad” is the second single off the album, following the hit song “Imagine.”

Jennifer Hudson is starring as Aretha Franklin in the upcoming biopic Respect and she’ll be singing all of the legendary singer’s hits songs!
The Oscar-winning actress has released her cover of Aretha‘s hit song “(You Make Me Feel Like A) Natural Woman” and you can listen to it here.
If you didn’t know, Carole King wrote that song for Aretha and she has teamed up with Jennifer to write a new original song for the movie. “Here I Am” will appear on the soundtrack for the film and it’s the only original song that will be in the movie.
