'Pivoting' With Ginnifer Goodwin, Maggie Q & Eliza Coupe Picked Up To Series at Fox

Fox has given a series order to Pivoting!

THR reports that the new series, which will star Ginnifer Goodwin, Eliza Coupe and Maggie Q, will have 10 episodes for the upcoming 2021-2022 season.

The show will center on three women, following the death of their childhood best friend.

Faced with the reality that life is short, in desperate attempts to find happiness, they make a series of impulsive, ill-advised and self-indulgent decisions, strengthening their bond proving it’s never too late to screw up your life.

Pivoting was first developed a year ago, and Fox decided to extend the cast’s options so they could film the pilot as the pandemic blocked the original plans.

Tommy Dewey, JT Neal and Marcello Julian Reyes will also star in the show.

Liz Astrof, Aaron Kaplan and Dana Honor will executive produce, with Tristram Shapeero directing the pilot.

When the show was first announced, Ginnifer‘s husband, Josh Dallas, couldn’t contain his excitement.

Ginnifer Goodwin is going to be back on television with after joining a comedy pilot called Pivoting.

The pilot will center on three women, Amy (Eliza Coupe), Jodie (Goodwin) and Sarah, after the death of their childhood best friend, Deadline reports.

Faced with the reality that life is short, in desperate attempts to find happiness, they make a series of impulsive, ill-advised and self-indulgent decisions, strengthening their bond proving it’s never too late to screw up your life.

Ginnifer‘s character Jodie is descried as “a parent of three, married to a suffocating husband who gives her no room to breathe and be herself. She finds the excitement, attention, and affection she craves in the form of an affair with her gym trainer.”

Her real life husband, Josh Dallas, shared his excitement about the series and her new role on Instagram this afternoon.

“I’m watching! How about you? That’s my lady! 🌟” he captioned on Instagram with a screenshot of the news.

Josh and Ginnifer were last seen out together at NBC’s holiday party late last year.

Matt Bomer Raves About Cynthia Erivo's Performance at Gold Meets Golden Event!

Matt Bomer looks handsome in a black sweater while walking the carpet at the 2020 Gold Meets Golden event on Saturday afternoon (January 4) at the Virginia Robinson Gardens & Estate in Los Angeles.

The 42-year-old actor took to his Instagram that afternoon to rave about Golden Globe nominee Cynthia Erivo‘s performance of “Imagine” at the event.

“This song, sung by @cynthiaerivo, who I think is one of the most talented artists on the planet right now, was a highlight for me. It’s good to keep in mind John Lennon’s lyrics in a 2020 that already has a lot going on,” Matt wrote on Instagram.
