Alexander Skarsgard Is Evil Personified In 'The Stand' Trailer - Watch Here!

It’s good versus evil in the first trailer for The Stand.

The series, based on Stephen King‘s novel of the same name, is an apocalyptic vision of a world decimated by plague and embroiled in an elemental struggle between good and evil.

The fate of mankind rests on the frail shoulders of the 108-year-old Mother Abagail (Whoopi Goldberg) and a handful of survivors. Their worst nightmares are embodied in a man with a lethal smile and unspeakable powers: Randall Flagg (Alexander Skarsgård), the Dark Man.

Jovan Adepo, Owen Teague, Greg Kinnear, Brad William Henke, Nat Wolff, Daniel Sunjata, James Marsden, Amber Heard, Odessa Young, Eion Bailey, Katherine McNamara, Heather Graham, Marilyn Manson, Hamish Linklater and Henry Zaga also star in the limited series.

The Stand will premiere on CBS All Access on December 17.

Greg Kinnear to Make Broadway Debut in 'To Kill a Mockingbird'

Greg Kinnear will be playing the role of Atticus Finch in the smash hit Broadway production of To Kill a Mockingbird!

The Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning actor will make his Broadway debut on April 21, succeeding Ed Harris, who will play his final performance on April 19.

Jeff Daniels originated the role of Atticus Finch in the play and earned a Tony nomination for his work.

To Kill a Mockingbird, which was adapted for the stage by Aaron Sorkin, holds the title of the most successful American play in Broadway history. The production has now amassed a total gross of more than $125,000,000 and continues to play to standing-room-only houses.

A national tour of the play begins on August 25 with Richard Thomas in the lead role and Rhys Ifans will be starring in the London production, which begins performance on May 21.

Judy Greer Admits She Just Watched 'The Lion King' for the First Time!

Judy Greer made a big revelation on last night’s (August 12) episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden!

While making an appearance alongside Greg Kinnear, the 44-year-old Kidding actress admitted that she just recently saw The Lion King for the first time ever.

“I had never seen The Lion King, like the movie, The Lion King. I never saw it,” Judy revealed. “It turns out that there’s a musical version of it too. In New York City they do it.”

“My parents weren’t into Disney and I’m an only child so they were like, ‘we don’t need to take her to that’,” Judy continued. “On my birthday I was really excited to see The Lion King finally after all these years, and I didn’t know that the dad dies in it. I didn’t know that and it was really upsetting in the theater. I was crying and screaming and upset.”

Jordan Peele Joins 'Twilight Zone' Actors at Hollywood Premiere!

Jordan Peele walks the carpet at the premiere of The Twilight Zone on Tuesday night (March 26) at the Harmony Gold Theater in Hollywood.

The Us and Get Out director is one of the executive producers of the reboot for CBS All Access and he was joined by the show’s many actors – Ike Barinholtz, John Cho, Taissa Farmiga, James Frain, Ginnifer Goodwin, Zabryna Guevara, Percy Hynes-White, Damson Idris, Greg Kinnear, Luke Kirby, Sanaa Lathan, Kumail Nanjiani, Rhea Seehorn, China Shavers, Jacob Tremblay, Erica Tremblay, Jefferson White, Jonathan Whitesell, and DeWanda Wise.

Zabryna received support from her friend Sterling K. Brown while Kumail was joined at the event by his wife Emily V. Gordon.

The first two episodes of the series will premiere on April 1 and additional new episodes will be available on demand weekly beginning on April 11.

Robin Wright is all smiles as she hits the red carpet at the season six world premiere of House of Cards held on Monday (October 22) in Los Angeles.

The 52-year-old actress was joined at the event by her co-stars Constance Zimmer, Patricia Clarkson, Michael Kelly, Diane Lane, Derek Cecil, Campbell Scott, Greg Kinnear, Boris McGiver and Nini Le Huynh.

Joining Robin Wright for the last season of the Netflix hit are Diane Lane and Greg Kinnear as Annette Shepherd and Bill Shepherd, a “sister and brother who inherited Shepherd Unlimited, a leading industrial conglomerate whose family foundations exert a powerful behind-the-scenes force in the American political landscape.”

Cody Fern also joins the show as Duncan Shepherd, “Annette’s ambitious and devoted son, who represents the next generation of DC power players.”

The new season will stream on November 2, without the show’s original star, Kevin Spacey.

Diane Lane & Greg Kinnear Join 'House of Cards' for Final Season

The final season of House of Cards is beginning production again, and two new stars have been added to the show after Kevin Spacey‘s exit amid his sexual misconduct allegations.

Diane Lane and Greg Kinnear are joining the show, and they will play siblings, THR reports. No real plot or character details have been revealed just yet.

The final season of the show will now center on Robin Wright‘s Claire Underwood, who played the wife to Spacey‘s character.

Also expected in the final season are Michael Kelly, Jayne Atkinson, Patricia Clarkson, Constance Zimmer, and more.
