Greta Thunberg is celebrating her birthday.

The climate change activist, who turned 18 on Sunday (January 3), celebrated her special day with a photo of herself humorously wearing a “Flat Mars Society” hoodie, mocking the Flat Earther Movement.

“Thank you so much for all the well-wishes on my 18th birthday! Tonight you will find me down at the local pub exposing all the dark secrets behind the climate- and school strike conspiracy and my evil handlers who can no longer control me! I am free at last!!” she amusingly captioned the post, addressing the various conspiracy theories about her activism.

She also recently said something on Twitter that made headlines to the President of the United States amid his election fraud claims.

Greta Thunberg is returning the favor.

Almost a year after the 74-year-old President of the United States told the 17-year-old climate change activist to “chill” on Twitter and accused her of having an anger management problem, Greta is now doing the same to Trump as he continues to demand that the polls stop counting votes amid the 2020 presidential election.

“So ridiculous. Donald must work on his Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Donald, Chill!” she wrote, directly referencing his own tweet to her a year ago.

Trump has been filing lawsuits to have votes halted and examined in Pennsylvania and in Michigan, which has been called for Biden.

Greta Thunberg Makes Big Donation & Launches New UNICEF Campaign To Aid Children During Pandemic

Greta Thunberg is donating a big sum of money to coronavirus relief efforts.

The 17-year-old climate activist was recently award $100,000 for her global activism from Human Act, a Danish worldwide development organization.

However, Greta will be donating that money to the United Nations Children’s Fund, and Human Act will be matching the donation as together they launch a new campaign specifically aimed at safeguarding children’s rights and welfare at this time.

The money will go to support UNICEF’s efforts to protect children from food shortages, strained healthcare systems, violence and lost school days.

“I’m asking everyone to step up and join me in support of UNICEF’s vital work to save children’s lives, to protect health and continue education,” Greta shared in a statement. “Like the climate crisis, the coronavirus pandemic is a child-rights crisis. It will affect all children, now and in the long-term, but vulnerable groups will be impacted the most.”

The campaign will also help the organization to provide essential items like soap, masks, gloves, hygiene kits, protective equipment and life-saving information to healthcare systems in need.

Troye Sivan is sharing the story of how he was catfished by Russian pranksters who claimed to be environmental activist Greta Thunberg and her father.

“Story time: i got catfished. I’m bored and I’ve wanted to tell this story for ages,” the 24-year-old singer captioned a video on his Instagram account on Thursday night (March 26).

It all started when Troye‘s manager received a phone call from someone who pretended to be Greta‘s dad. The prankster said that they were planning something called “Stars Save the Earth” and they had a whole to-do list that included swimming with sharks with Leonardo DiCaprio, saving the animals in Africa with Prince Harry, and more.

“I was like, ‘Oh my god, this girl is so inspiring, and now she wants to work with me.’ That’s crazy,” Troye said in the video.

Troye‘s manager gave the pranksters his phone number and Troye only exchanged a couple text messages with the fake Greta before they realized what was going on.

After Troye‘s manager talked on the phone with the “dad,” they watched a video of Greta‘s real dad and realized it wasn’t the same person.

Turns out, Troye isn’t the only one who fell for the prank. Prince Harry also reportedly had several conversations on the phone with the pranksters.

Greta Thunberg has been nominated for the 2020 Nobel Peace Prize!

Two Swedish lawmakers announced the 17-year-old climate change activist’s 2020 nomination on Monday (February 3).

Jens Holm and Hakan Svenneling, members of Sweden’s Left Party, said that Greta “has worked hard to make politicians open their eyes to the climate crisis” and “action for reducing our emissions and complying with the Paris Agreement is therefore also an act of making peace,” according to ABC News.

Greta was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize last year as well, but unfortunately did not win.

The 2020 Nobel Peace Prize winners will be announced in the fall.

Greta Thunberg Addresses Climate Change & Trump at World Economic Forum in Davos (Video)

Greta Thunberg hit back at Donald Trump regarding tackling the climate crisis at the World Economic Forum.

The 17-year-old activist took the stage at on Tuesday (January 21) in Davos, Switzerland.

“Pretty much nothing has been done since the global emissions of CO2 has not reduced,” Greata said. “[I]f you see it from that aspect, what has concretely been done, if you see it from a bigger perspective, basically nothing … it will require much more than this, this is just the very beginning.”

In his speech, Donald Trump announced the United States’ plan to join an initiative to restore a trillion trees by 2050, but that “to embrace the possibilities of tomorrow, we must reject the perennial prophets of doom and their predictions of the apocalypse.”

Greta replied that “planting trees is good” but nowhere near enough, adding, “Our house is still on fire. Your inaction is fueling the flames by the hour. We are still telling you to panic, and to act as if you loved your children above all else.”

“I wonder, what will you tell your children was the reason to fail and leave them facing the climate chaos you knowingly brought upon them?” Greta Thunberg shared on Instagram. “That it seemed so bad for the economy that we decided to resign the idea of securing future living conditions without even trying?”
