The Little Mermaid is officially wrapped!
Star Halle Bailey confirmed that shooting has concluded with a gorgeous sunset pictures on her Instagram, with her laying in the water.
In her sweet message goodbye, the 21-year-old singer and actress wrote, “And just like that..that’s a wrap ❤️.”

We have our first photos of Halle Bailey and Jonah Hauer-King on The Little Mermaid set together!
The two co-stars, who play Ariel the Mermaid and Prince Eric, were seen shooting what appears to be an iconic scene on Tuesday (June 29) in Sardinia, Italy. Noma Dumezweni was also seen on set that day.
We cannot confirm, but fans seem to think the pair may have been filming “Kiss the Girl,” one of the famous scenes from the original Disney movie! “Kiss the Girl” happens when Prince Eric and Ariel go for a romantic boat ride together. The song is famously sung by Sebastian the Crab.

Some of the first set photos from the upcoming live action Little Mermaid movie were just revealed and we have all of the pics right here!
The set photos feature star Halle Bailey as the title character of Ariel. It appears as if Halle is hiding inside a cart for this particular scene. A seaside town is depicted in the photos, taken on Tuesday (June 21) on the Italian island of Sardinia.
Also seen on set today were extras dressed as villagers to portray the seaside village from the classic Disney film. The cast has been hard at work filming and very few set photos have been seen so far.

Chloe and Halle Bailey show off their impeccable style for the 2021 Grammys, airing Sunday (March 14) from Los Angeles.
The musical sisters chose looks from Louis Vuitton for the annual musical award show, where they were nominated for three awards.
Chloe x Halle were up for Best Progressive R&B Album, Best R&B Song, and Best Traditional R&B Performance. However, they did not win.

The campaign was photographed by the luxury brand’s womenswear creative director, Nicolas Ghesquière, for the Spring-Summer 2021 Collection and promotes the latest leather bags, the Coussin, Rendez-vous, Capucines and the Twist.

Disney made so many announcements this week and among them was the confirmation of the cast of the upcoming The Little Mermaid live-action remake.
It has been months since we first learned about who would be bringing these roles to life, but this is the first time Disney has confirmed some of the names.
The cast includes an Oscar winner, a five-time Grammy nominee, a Tony Award winner, and more.
The upcoming movie will be directed by Rob Marshall, who previously directed movie musicals like Chicago, Nine, Into the Woods, and Mary Poppins Returns.
