Rachel Bilson is dishing on being a celebrity mom.

In a new episode of the Betches Moms podcast, the 39-year-old The O.C. actress revealed that six-year-old daughter Briar, whom she shares with ex Hayden Christensen, doesn’t really “how famous” are parents are.

“I think she knows that her mom — and her dad’s an actor too —” so she kind of knows that we are in that world,” Rachel shared. “But she’s not aware of that level. She definitely doesn’t know how famous her dad is or the character he played was.”

Rachel then added that Briar knows that the 39-year-old actor was in Star Wars, but “has no idea what that even means, because she hasn’t seen anything.” If you don’t know, Hayden played Anakin Skywalker in Episodes II and III of the Star Wars series.

Rachel then explained why Briar hasn’t watched her dad in any of the Star Wars movies yet.

“I’d like to keep it that way. Thank God, because he kills children [in the movies], so let’s keep that from her until she’s like 80,” Rachel said with a laugh.

Rachel Bilson is opening up about co-parenting with Hayden Christensen during the Coronavirus pandemic.

The pair share daughter Briar Rose, 6. Rachel and Hayden were together from 2007 to 2017.

First, she addressed that Hayden is being very good about COVID-19 guidelines, saying on the Betches Moms podcase, “Luckily [my daughter's] dad is pretty hardcore with [the COVID restrictions].”

“But you have to trust each other and you are bubbled up,” she said. She added that Hayden had been in his native Canada for some of the pandemic.

“But it’s also nice because she’s had the opportunity to have another house to go and not be stuck in our house the entire time so I’m grateful for that and we’ve just handled it. Survival mode,” she added.

Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen are getting along great!

During a new interview, the 39-year-old The OC actress opened up about co-parenting with the 39-year-old Star Wars actor amid the pandemic.

If you didn’t know, Rachel and Hayden were together from 2007 to 2017 and share 6-year-old daughter Briar Rose.

“It’s been going pretty well,” Rachel shared with Us Weekly. “It’s also nice because you’re stuck in the house [amid the pandemic].”

Rachel continued: “So, for her to have another house to go to, I think that’s actually been helpful. So, all in all, it’s been good.”

Hayden Christensen will reprise his role as Darth Vader in the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series that will be released on Disney+.

Ewan McGregor will be reprising the title role, which he played in The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of The Sith.

Hayden played Anakin Skywalker in Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. In the latter movie, he pledged himself to the Sith and Palpatine dubbed him Darth Vader. He battled Obi-Wan in a lightsaber duel near the end of the film and was left for dead, but Palpatine treated his mutilated body and covered him in the black suit we all recognize as the Darth Vader uniform.

Disney announced that the upcoming series “begins 10 years after the dramatic events of Revenge of the Sith.” The series is set to be helmed by Deborah Chow, who has worked on The Mandalorian.

Hayden Christensen focuses on the gas pump while filling up his tank on Monday (September 7) in Studio City, Calif.

The 39-year-old actor stayed safe while wearing a face mask and gloves at the gas station. He wore the same hat that we saw him in a couple weeks ago while running errands.

Hayden hasn’t been seen out and about much, especially since the quarantine. Back in April, he was spotted with ex Rachel Bilson and their 5-year-old daughter Briar Rose. Before that, he was seen at a farmer’s market checking out some of the vendors with a female friend in January.

Career-wise, Hayden most recently appeared in the sci-fi movie The Last Man, which you can watch for free with an Amazon Prime subscription.
