'Ocean's Eight' Starring a Fierce Female Cast Gets Release Date

We now have an official release date for the highly anticipated movie Ocean’s Eight, starring an amazing cast of women!

Sandra Bullock, Rihanna, Anne Hathaway, Cate Blanchett, and more are leading the cast of the film, which hits theaters on June 8, 2018.

Also in the cast are Mindy Kaling, Helena Bonham Carter, Sarah Paulson, and rapper Awkwafina.

Director Gary Ross has said that the movie will be a continuation of the Ocean’s Eleven trilogy, which starred George Clooney.

“It’s a pretty similar tone. You know, Steven Soderbergh and I are incredibly close friends, and we would not have done this if we weren’t. I don’t think he would’ve wanted anyone to do it if we weren’t. This is very much an extension and a continuation,” Gary told Slashfilm.
