Hilary Rhoda is providing an update on her newborn son after his “dramatic birth.”

The 33-year-old model gave an update on her Instagram Story on Wednesday (July 29) after welcoming her son Nash with husband Sean Avery the day before.

“I’ve showered, put on some real clothes and I feel like a new woman,” Hilary said. “I’m still at the hospital, Nash is in the NICU. The cord was wrapped around his neck when he was born and so it was a bit of a dramatic birth. He had to be on breathing tubes for a little bit and now he’s off of them, but they’re going to keep him in there until tomorrow.”

Despite the dramatic birth, Hilary said that baby Nash is “doing well” and he’ll be able to head home soon.

“So he’s doing really well and he’s just so cute. Just hanging out here [and we’ll] take him home tomorrow,” Hilary said.

Hilary and Sean tied the knot in 2015 and announced back in January that they were expecting after suffering multiple miscarriages.

On Tuesday (July 28), Hilary took to Instagram to announce her son’s birth.

Hilary Rhoda has some happy news to share!

The 32-year-old model is pregnant with her first child with husband Sean Avery after multiple miscarriages, she confirmed on her Instagram on Wednesday (January 22).

“It’s a boy 💙🌈 @imseanavery and I are having a baby and we’re so excited about this next chapter of life together ♥️♥️♥️,” she wrote along with a photo showing off her baby bump.

“The last year has been quite a journey* getting to this point, lots of ups and downs… but for those trying to conceive, all I can say is just keep going. *I really hate the word ‘journey’ (I blame The Bachelor) but it really felt appropriate in this context ha,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.

“Trying to conceive is a mindf–k and might have almost ended our marriage once or twice,” she added.

On his podcast, No F*cks Given With Sean Avery, the 39-year-old former hockey player revealed she got pregnant the first month they tried and had a miscarriage. Two months later, she had another.

“I think she’s got a superstar in the oven and I gotta tell you, I’m very excited because I’m going to be an awesome f–king dad. I’m going to be a stern, strong, fair dad. My son? Well, he’s going to get s–t done,” he said.
