Alex Pettyfer is dapper as he poses for a photograph alongside nightlife promoter Bryan Rabin at Elizabeth Taylor’s Birthday Celebration held at Giorgio’s on Saturday (February 24) in The Standard Hollywood.

The 27-year-old actor was joined at the event by Nolan Gerard Funk and Ian Nelson, as well as stylist George Kotsiopoulos and designer Brian Wolk.

The Standard Hollywood teamed up with The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation (ETAF) to celebrate Elizabeth’s 86th birthday and the 25th anniversary of the icon receiving the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award.

The event marks the first of many that The Standard will be hosting in partnership with ETAF. Additionally, as of February 24th, The Standard will invite hotel guests to celebrate Elizabeth Taylor’s activism by making a $2 tax deductible donation to benefit ETAF upon check in.

The 52-year-old actor and the 64-year-old director, who is Sting‘s longtime wife, were joined at the event by the stars of the flick Ian Nelson, Mickey Sumner and Charlotte Ubben, as well as Pierce Brosnan and his wife Keely Shaye Smith, and David Arquette.

Freak Show follows the story of Billy Bloom (Alex Lawther), a fabulous, glitter-bedecked, gender-bending teenager whose razor-sharp wit is matched only his by his outrageous, anything-goes fashion sense. When his glamorous mother (Bette Midler) is forced to send him to live with his straight-laced father (Larry Pine), Billy finds himself a diva-out-of-water at his new ultra-conservative high school. Undaunted by the bullies who don’t understand him, the fearless Billy sets out to make a big statement in his own inimitable way: challenging the school’s reigning mean girl (Abigail Breslin) for the title of homecoming queen. This proudly offbeat comedy is an irresistible ode to outsiders and nonconformists of all stripes.

Laverne Cox is the lady in white as she hits the red carpet at the closing night gala and screening of her new film Freak Show held as part of 2017 Outfest Los Angeles LGBT Film Festival on Sunday (July 16) in Los Angeles.

The Orange is the New Black star was joined at the event by co-stars Alex Lawther, Ian Nelson, director Trudie Styler, writer James St. James, as well as Courtney Love, Matt Dallas and Lisa Edelstein, who all came out to show their support.

Based on James St. James award winning novel of the same name, Freak Show is the story of high schooler Billy Bloom (Lawther) and his journey towards acceptance in a conservative town. Abigail Breslin, AnnaSophia Robb and Bette Midler also star in the flick – Watch a clip below!
