Idina Menzel belts out a song during her performance at the 2020 Academy Awards on Sunday (February 9) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

The Tony-winning entertainer performed the song “Into the Unknown” from the movie Frozen 2 and she was joined on stage by nine other actresses who voiced the role of Elsa in international versions of the Disney film.

Aurora, who provided the mysterious voice for the song, also joined them on stage.

“Into the Unknown” is nominated for Best Original Song at the Oscars. The song “Let It Go” from the first movie won the Oscar six years ago!

Idina will be taking the stage tonight to perform Frozen 2‘s hit song “Into the Unknown.” You may be having flashbacks to what happened to Idina before she performed Frozen‘s “Let It Go” at the Oscars back in 2014.

If you don’t know, Idina was introduced by John Travolta and he introduced her as “Adele Dazeem” and not “Idina Menzel.”

John will NOT be presenting to Idina tonight and Frozen 2′s songwriters are disappointed that he won’t be the one to do it.

Adam Sandler is joined by his wife Jackie while walking the carpet at the 2020 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday afternoon (February 8) at the pier in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 53-year-old actor is nominated for Best Male Lead for his work in the movie Uncut Gems, which is up for five awards overall.

Adam was joined at the event by his on-screen wife Idina Menzel, as well as the film’s directors and co-writers Benny Safdie and Joshua Safdie, co-writer Ronald Bronstein, and producer Sebastian Bear-McClard.

The movie is also up for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Editing.

Caitriona Balfe steps out in a gorgeous dress for the 2020 Women In Film Female Oscar Nominees Party held at Sunset Room Hollywood on Friday night (February 7) in Hollywood.

The 40-year-old Outlander star met up with Idina Menzel, Connie Britton, Oscar nominees Diane Warren and Sandy Powell, plus Lake Bell, Caitlin McGee, Logan Browning, Stephanie Beatriz, Janina Gavankar, and Anika Noni Rose.

Gideon Adlon, Hari Nef, Megalyn Echikunwoke, Madeline Brewer, Kyra Sedgwick, and Mikey Madison were also seen at the party with influencers Tati Westbrook, Gigi Gorgeous, Nats Getty, August Getty, and longtime couple Chris Hardwick and Lydia Hearst.

Idina Menzel will be performing the Frozen 2 song “Into the Unknown” at the 2020 Oscars this weekend and more details about the performance have been revealed!

The Tony-winning actress will be joined on stage by nine other women who have voiced Elsa in the international versions of Frozen.

Idina and Norwegian singer Aurora, whose voice is heard in the movie, will be joined by Maria Lucia Heiberg Rosenberg (Denmark), Willemijn Verkaik (Germany), Lisa Stokke (Norway), Takako Matsu (Japan), Carmen Garcia Saenz (Latin America), Kasia Łaska (Poland), Anna Buturlina (Russia), Gisela (Spain), and Gam Wichayanee (Thailand).

“Into the Unknown” is one of the five songs nominated for Best Original Song at this year’s Oscars. Hopefully whoever introduces the performance knows how to say Idina Menzel‘s name, unlike John Travolta!

The performers for the 2020 Academy Awards have just been announced!

The Oscars producers announced on Thursday (January 23) the line-up of talent set to hit the stage to perform during this year’s ceremony, airing on February 9 on ABC.

“We’re excited to have an incredible group of nominees and performers who will deliver one-of-a-kind music moments you will only see on the Oscars,” said producers Lynette Howell Taylor and Stephanie Allain.
