Ladies and gentlemen, Billy Porter has arrived!

The 49-year-old Pose actor stunned in a fuchsia-colored, sheer tulle gown as he arrived at the 2019 Peabody Awards on Saturday night (May 18) at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

Billy was joined at the awards show by his costars MJ Rodriguez, Indya Moore, and Dominique Jackson along with Pose‘s producers Ryan Murphy, Janet Mock, and Our Lady J.

Other stars at the event included Hasan Minhaj and wife Beena, Rita Moreno, D’Arcy Carden, and Katie Couric.

The ceremony was hosted this year by journalist Ronan Farrow.

Here’s what the Pose actress had to say…

On her family’s reaction when she started displaying feminine behaviors as a child: “Because I was assigned male at birth, they expected me to be masculine or to perform the way they thought young boys should perform. And I did not. They didn’t understand. They had never experienced what it was like to have a family member who was genderqueer.”

On being sex trafficked as a teenager to obtain hormone replacement therapy: “I didn’t understand what sex trafficking was at the time. The language I knew was that they were, basically, my pimps. I was just a kid.”

On getting her role on Pose: “I just knew my life was going to change. I knew I had a chance to teach the world something that would help more people to be safe.”

The 29-year-old BlackKklansman actress sported a short, blonde wig as she walked the runway at the 2019 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 6) in New York City.

Laura went edgy in a short, black leather dress with a leopard-print collar and knee-high leather boots as she arrived at the event.

Earlier in the night, Laura was spotted walking arm in arm with Pose star Indya Moore as they left The Mark Hotel as they headed to the party together.

The ladies all star in the FX series Pose and they were joined by the show’s producer Janet Mock.

Ryan Murphy, one of the show’s creators, sponsored a table at the gala and invited the Pose cast to join him!

Billy Porter and MJ Rodriguez step out on the red carpet at the 2019 GLAAD Media Awards on Saturday night (May 4) at the Hilton Midtown in New York City.

The Pose actors were joined by their co-stars Indya Moore, Ryan Jamaal Swain, Angelica Ross, Angel Bismark Curiel, Dyllon Burnside, and Hailie Sahar, as well as producers Janet Mock and Our Lady J.

Billy was joined on the carpet by his husband Adam Smith.

Pose won the award for Outstanding Drama Series at the event, beating out Billions, Black Lightning, Grey’s Anatomy, The Handmaid’s Tale, Instinct, Shadowhunters, Star, Supergirl, and Wynonna Earp.

Jimmy Fallon looked so sharp while hitting the carpet at the 2019 Time 100 Gala!

The 44-year-old talk show host stepped out at the event on Tuesday evening (April 23) at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City.

He was also joined at the event by John Oliver, Trevor Noah and Janet Mock.

Pose cast members Billy Porter, MJ Rodriguez, Dominique Jackson, and Indya Moore hit the blue carpet at the 2019 PaleyFest on Saturday (March 23) at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.

Also joining the cast at the panel was creator Ryan Murphy – who served as moderator – along with producers Janet Mock, Our Lady J, and Steven Canals.

During the panel, Ryan revealed to the cast that Patti LuPone will be guest starring in several episodes next season!

Last summer, Ryan shared some details on season two saying, “We’re gonna do a one-year time leap,” adding that it will begin in 1989 and “end in March of ’90, when Madonna’s ‘Vogue’ was released.”

Season two of Pose doesn’t have a premiere date yet.
