In a recent interview, Isaac opened up about how he would be disappointed if the book series didn’t end up the same as the HBO series, where Bran is awarded the throne.

“I will be a bit gutted I think,” Isaac shared. “What’s nice is the fact the books and the show were able to evolve as their own thing, so George has no obligations to end it in any of the same ways we did.”

He added, “That’s quite cool, you’re going to get two alternative endings to Game of Thrones.”

Maisie Williams Shuts Down a Sexist 'Game of Thrones' Theory During Comic-Con Panel

Maisie Williams appears on stage during the Game of Thrones panel held at 2019 Comic-Con on Friday (July 19) in San Diego, Calif.

The 22-year-old actress was joined at the event by her co-stars Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Isaac Hempstead Wright, Jacob Anderson, John Bradley, Liam Cunningham, and Conleth Hill.

During the panel, Maisie was asked about a sexist theory that some fans have about the scene where Arya kills the Night King. The fan theory says that Jon Snow helped Arya kill him, but she responded with a big, “NO!”

“She did it on her own. But if we’re to give credit to anyone, it would be Melisandre for getting Arya’s head back on track,” Maisie said.

Maisie was also asked about where Arya would be now and if she’d ever get back with Gendry.

“Arya has always been a lone wolf, always felt a bit of a misfit in her own family,” she said. “I don’t think being with a partner is what would make her feel the most fulfilled.”

FYI: Nikolaj is wearing an IWC watch.
