Tonight, Lucasfilm announced that Gina Carano would not be returning for Disney+’s The Mandalorian after her controversial social media posts went viral.

The actress came under fire after re-posting something from another account that compared the treatment of conservatives in the United States to how Jewish people were treated in Germany during the Nazi era.

“Gina Carano is not currently employed by Lucasfilm and there are no plans for her to be in the future,” a rep for Lucasfilm confirmed in a statement.

However, Gina isn’t exactly the first actor to be fired from their television show amid controversy.

Isaiah Washington was fired from Grey’s Anatomy back in 2007 for using a homophobic slur, and now, 13 years later, he is calling out his former co-star, Katherine Heigl.

In the Golden Globes press room back in 2007, Washington famously addressed the rumor that he used a derogatory term and said, “No, I did not call T.R. [Knight] a f—-t. Never happened, never happened.”

Katherine slammed Washington at the time, saying, “I’m going to be really honest right now, he needs to just not speak in public. Period. I’m sorry, that did not need to be said, I’m not okay with it.”

Well, on Monday (November 16), Washington tweeted a photo of Katherine with the caption, “This woman once proclaimed that I should ‘never’ be allowed to speak publicly again. The world agreed with her proclamation back then and protested for my job and my head in 65 languages. I wish I was on Twitter in 2007, because I will NEVER stop exercising my free speech.”

He then continued to tweet out more and more about the incident.

Jason Momoa is one supportive co-star!

The 37-year-old actor and his wife Lisa Bonet made a rare official appearance at the Live By Night premiere in support of his Justice League cast mate Ben Affleck held at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Monday evening (January 9) in Hollywood.

This is the first time Jason and Lisa, 49, have hit a red carpet together in over a year. The last time the couple was spotted at an event was at the InStyle Awards back in October 2015.

Jason and Lisa were also joined at the premiere by star of the flick Miguel and his love Nazanin Mandi, Isaiah Washington, Giles Marini, Gil Birmingham and Code Black‘s Emily Tyra.

Gina Rodriguez and Rose McIver both opt for white dresses while attending the 2016 CW Upfront held at The London Hotel on Thursday morning (May 19) in New York City.

The ladies were joined on the star-studded carpet by Gina‘s Jane the Virgin co-star Justin Baldoni.
