Jack Whitehall is hosting the 2020 BRIT Awards right now and while announcing the presenters for New Artist of the Year, went ahead and shaded Niall Horan!

Niall was presenting the award alongside Clara Amfo, and while introducing him, Jack said, “He was a member of the biggest boy band One Direction with Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Harry Styles…we are so honored to have him here tonight…the other one!”

Niall appeared to get it was a joke as he was laughing while he walked out on stage.

Jack Whitehall matches his suit to his blue eyes at the 2020 BRIT Awards!

The 31-year-old comedian – and host of the event for the third year in a row – stepped out for the ceremony held at The O2 Arena on Tuesday (February 18) in London, England.

According to The Sun, Jack is reportedly looking for love on the private, membership-based dating app Raya.

Jack dated Crazy Rich Asians‘ Gemma Chan for six years before they split in 2017. He has also been linked to Underworld star Kate Beckinsale.

There’s a live-action Clifford the Big Red Dog movie on the way and we have photos from the set!

Jack Whitehall and young child actors Darby Camp and Izaac Wang were spotted filming scenes together on Sunday (August 11) in New York City.

A special effects team was seen walking behind them while wearing a giant dog costume that will be transformed into Clifford in post-production.

Darby, best known for playing Reese Witherspoon‘s daughter on Big Little Lies, will play Emily, “who is struggling to fit in at home and at school. She discovers a small red puppy who is destined to become her best friend. When Clifford magically undergoes one heck of a growth spurt and attracts the attention of a genetics company, Emily and her Uncle Casey (Whitehall) have to fight the forces of greed as they go on the run across New York City.”

The movie will hit theaters on November 13, 2020.

The upcoming adaptation of the novel by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman will hit Amazon’s video streaming service on May 31.

The cast includes Adria Arjona, Jack Whitehall, Michael McKean, Miranda Richardson, Jon Hamm, Michael Sheen and David Tennant.

In the series, with Armageddon just days away, the armies of Heaven and Hell are amassing and The Four Horsemen are ready to ride. Aziraphale, an angel, and Crowley, a demon, agree to join forces to find the missing Anti-Christ and to stop the war that will end everything.

Jack Whitehall had one line in the hit animated film Frozen, but it was cut from the finished movie and his role was erased.

Now, the 30-year-old actor has been given the chance to deliver his line thanks to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon!

Jack made his Broadway debut with a walk-on role in Frozen the Musical and he got to deliver the line that was removed from the movie. He played one of the “hidden folk” and went shirtless for his costume.

After the performance, Jimmy Fallon took Jack to dinner at Sardi’s and didn’t give him time to get out of his costume!

Disney is including an important moment of inclusiveness in their upcoming Jungle Cruise movie!

The movie, which is due out in 2020, had a test screening earlier in the month and attendees reported that there is a coming out scene, according to TMZ.

The scene features Jack Whitehall‘s character, McGregor, coming out to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson‘s character, Frank.

During the scene, McGregor has a heart-to-heart with Frank about his dating history, and McGregor “makes it very clear he isn’t into ladies.”

He then explains that his family had tried arranging marriages for him with several women, but he didn’t wanna marry them – or any women. He also says Emily Blunt‘s character, Lily (his sister in the movie), was the only one in his family to accept him and support him regardless of who he loves.

Despite the gesture of representation, attendees also reported that the scene noticeably does not include a mention of the word “gay,” or the pronoun of McGregor’s love interest.

The actors were joined at the dinner by Emily‘s Mary Poppins Returns co-star Emily Mortimer. Earlier in the evening, the ladies walked the red carpet at their film’s premiere.

Jack will be playing a gay character in Jungle Cruise and Disney faced some backlash for not casting a gay actor for the role. This is reportedly the first openly gay character in one of the studio’s movies.
