Here’s the synopsis: Lindy is a beautiful, sardonically-funny woman with a painful secret: Due to a lifelong, rare neurological disorder, she experiences sporadic rage-filled, murderous impulses that can only be stopped when she shocks herself with a special electrode device. Unable to find love and connection in a world that fears her bizarre condition, she finally trusts a man long enough to fall in love, only to find him murdered the next day. Heartbroken and enraged, she embarks on a revenge-filled mission to find his killer, while also being pursued by the police as the crime’s prime suspect.
The film will hit Amazon on July 23. Check out the trailer…
The upcoming film, directed by Guardians of the Galaxy filmmaker James Gunn, features a ton of superstars and familiar faces from 2016′s Suicide Squad, including Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg and Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang.
John Cena‘s Peacemaker is also in the film, and he is getting his own HBO Max spinoff.
Here’s a plot summary: “Welcome to hell—a.k.a. Belle Reve, the prison with the highest mortality rate in the US of A. Where the worst Super-Villains are kept and where they will do anything to get out—even join the super-secret, super-shady Task Force X. Today’s do-or-die assignment? Assemble a collection of cons, including Bloodsport, Peacemaker, Captain Boomerang, Ratcatcher 2, Savant, King Shark, Blackguard, Javelin and everyone’s favorite psycho, Harley Quinn. Then arm them heavily and drop them (literally) on the remote, enemy-infused island of Corto Maltese. Trekking through a jungle teeming with militant adversaries and guerrilla forces at every turn, the Squad is on a search-and-destroy mission with only Colonel Rick Flag on the ground to make them behave…and Amanda Waller’s government techies in their ears, tracking their every movement. And as always, one wrong move and they’re dead (whether at the hands of their opponents, a teammate, or Waller herself). If anyone’s laying down bets, the smart money is against them—all of them.”
Deadline announced on Monday (January 25) that the actors will star in the upcoming action-thriller Black Site from the same producers of John Wick, Hotel Mumbai and Bait.
Here’s a summary: “Black Site centers on a group of officers based in a labyrinthine top-secret CIA black site who must fight for their lives in a cat-and-mouse game against Hatchet, a brilliant and infamous high-value detainee. When Hatchet escapes, his mysterious and deadly agenda has far-reaching and dire consequences.”
The film is set to begin production in Australia in February 2021 and will be directed by first-time filmmaker Sophia Banks.
A brand new teaser for the upcoming movie The Suicide Squad has been revealed and the entire cast and their characters were unveiled in the clip!
The teaser was played during the film’s panel at DC Fandome, a live-streamed event for the DC Universe.
Some of the stars from the 2016 movie Suicide Squad are reprising their roles in the new film, including Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, and Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang.
“The Suicide Squad is by far the most fun I’ve ever had making a movie,” director James Gunn told fans during the panel. “The character I was most excited to write for was Harley Quinn there’s a chaotic, trickster god [element] to her.”

Yvonne Strahovski looks confused as to where she is in this still from her new Netflix show, Stateless.
The limited series is described as a “powerful and timely series about four strangers whose lives collide at an immigration detention center in the middle of the Australian desert: an airline hostess on the run from a dangerous cult, an Afghan refugee and his family fleeing persecution, a young father escaping a dead-end job and a bureaucrat running out of time to contain a national scandal.”
Cate Blanchett and Jai Courtney hit the red carpet at the premiere of their new show Stateless on Wednesday (February 26) at the Zoo Palast in Berlin, Germany.
The 50-year-old Oscar-winning actress looked pretty in yellow, floral-print dress and black blazer while the 33-year-old Suicide Squad actor sported a dapper black suit and black turtleneck for the premiere held during the 2020 Berlinale International Film Festival.
Stateless centers on four strangers — from a flight attendant to an Afghan refugee — who find themselves caught up in one of Australia’s many immigration centers, THR reports. Cate will be playing a fictional cult leader.
Stateless will be debuting on March 1 in Australia, and will be hitting Netflix globally later this year. Check out the trailer here!
FYI: Cate is wearing a Dries Van Noten outfit.
