Netflix’s ‘Things Heard & Seen’ Ending Explained by Film’s Directors – Spoilers Ahead!

The new Netflix movie Things Heard & Seen is now streaming and it features an ending that will have some fans wanting more answers. Luckily, the directors of the film have spoken out to explain what happened!

Amanda Seyfried and James Norton star in the movie as a Manhattan couple who move to a historic hamlet in the Hudson Valley and come to discover that their marriage has a sinister darkness, one that rivals their new home’s history.

Catherine (Seyfried) and George (Norton) move to the small town with their daughter Franny so that he can take a job as an art history teacher at a private college. We eventually learn that people in the town are followers of an 18th-century Swedish theologian named Emanuel Swedenborg. One of Swedenborg's followers, a real-life artist named George Inness, has a painting called "The Valley of the Shadow of Death" that becomes an important theme for the movie and plays a big role in the ending.

HBO’s ‘The Nevers’ Cast – Who Plays Who? Plus, See Where You Know Them From!

The new HBO series The Nevers is already a huge hit and the show features some incredibly talented actors, many of whom you likely don't know yet.

Joss Whedon created the new fantasy series, which is set in Victorian London and takes place three years after a supernatural event gives certain people - mostly women - abnormal abilities, from the wondrous to the disturbing.

No matter their particular “turns,” all who belong to this new underclass are in grave danger. It falls to mysterious, quick-fisted widow Amalia True (Laura Donnelly) and brilliant young inventor Penance Adair (Ann Skelly) to protect and shelter these gifted “orphans.” To do so, they will have to face the brutal forces determined to annihilate their kind.

The first episode premiered this week and it delivered the best-ever debut for an original series on HBO Max, according to Variety.

After directing the first three episodes of the series, Joss dropped out of the project due to "exhaustion" and to focus on his personal life amid the investigation into misconduct allegations on the set of Justice League. He was replaced as showrunner by Philippa Goslett.

Amanda Seyfried has another Netflix movie on the way!

The 35-year-old actress, who is Oscar-nominated for her work in the Netflix movie Mank, teamed up with the streaming service for the upcoming horror film Things Heard & Seen.

The movie is based on the acclaimed novel by Elizabeth Brundage and was written and directed by Oscar-nominated filmmakers Robert Pulcini and Shari Springer Berman.

Here is the synopsis: Catherine Clare (Seyfried) reluctantly trades life in 1980s Manhattan for a remote home in the tiny hamlet of Chosen, New York, after her husband George (James Norton) lands a job teaching art history at a small Hudson Valley college. Even as she does her best to transform the old dairy farm into a place where young daughter Franny will be happy, Catherine increasingly finds herself isolated and alone. She soon comes to sense a sinister darkness lurking both in the walls of the ramshackle property-and in her marriage to George.

Also starring in the movie are Natalia Dyer, F. Murray Abraham, Alex Neustaedter, Rhea Seehorn, Michael O'Keefe, Karen Allen, Jack Gore, James Urbaniak, and Ana Sophia Heger.

Things Heard & Seen debuts on Netflix on April 29. Watch the trailer below!

Imogen Poots Joins Boyfriend James Norton at His Venice Film Festival Premiere!

James Norton looks so handsome while attending the premiere of his new movie Nowhere Special during the 2020 Venice Film Festival on Thursday (September 10) in Venice, Italy.

The 35-year-old actor most recently starred as John Brooke in the 2019 remake of Little Women.

James was joined at the event by his girlfriend Imogen Poots, who did not walk the red carpet. He walked the carpet with co-star Michael Lamont and writer/director Uberto Pasolini.

Nowhere Special stars James as "thirty five-year-old window cleaner John, who has dedicated his life to bringing up his son, after the child's mother left them soon after giving birth. When John is given only a few months to live, he attempts to find a new, perfect family for his three-year-old son, determined to shield him from the terrible reality of the situation."

James and Imogen have been dating for several years after starring in the West End production of the play Belleville in 2017.

Timothee Chalamet keeps it cool and casual while joining his cast mates at the London photo call of their anticipated film Little Women held at The Corinthia Hotel on Monday morning (December 16) in London, England.

Saoirse Ronan, Florence Pugh and director Greta Gerwig joined the 23-year-old actor, who plays Laurie in the film, on the roof of the hotel for their special photo call.

Also in attendance was other co-star James Norton and producer of the film Amy Pascal.

Little Women releases in UK cinemas on 26th December.

Emma Watson, Timothee Chalamet, and Saoirse Ronan step out for premiere of their highly-anticipated new movie on Saturday night (December 7) at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
